Mazda USA has announced the launch of the 2025 CX-90, which adds a number of new features and introduces a new Premium Sport model, with an overall starting price of US$37,845 (approximately NT$1.24 million).

A highlight of the 2025 Mazda CX-90 is the new Premium Sport model, which starts at $46,400. This model is upgraded based on the Preferred model, with a new blackening package on the exterior, including a gloss black water tank guard, black chrome trim strips and black emblems. In addition, it is also equipped with 21-inch metallic black wheels, black piano paint rearview mirror covers and the same color roof rails. Standard features also include a kick-sensing power tailgate and a panoramic sunroof.

Inside the car, Premium Sport is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch multimedia infotainment system, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. Other convenience features include an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat, a head-up display and a HomeLink frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror.

In terms of power system, the Premium Sport comes standard with a 3.3-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 280 horsepower and 450 Newton-meters of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. In addition, the original manufacturer also provides a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid system (PHEV), equipped with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine, an electric motor and a 17.8 kWh battery module, with a combined output of 323 horsepower and 500 Newton meters of torque, and It provides a pure electric driving range of approximately 42 kilometers.

The Mazda CX-90 was officially launched in Taiwan in May this year. All models are equipped with the e-SKYACTIV-G inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine, with a maximum power output of 345 horsepower and 51 kilograms of torque. This model offers two configurations: 7-seater and 6-seater. The 7-seater is divided into the entry-level 3.3T AWD Elite and the flagship 3.3T AWD Premium. The 6-seater is a single 3.3T AWD Premium Captain Seat. The suggested selling prices are: 3.3T AWD Elite starts at NT$1.79 million, 3.3T AWD Premium starts at NT$2.03 million, and 6-seater 3.3T AWD Premium Captain Seat starts at NT$2.11 million.
