Kadidiatou Diani Top Plays of 2023-24 | UWCL Stars of the Season

That's a nice ball out to Moroni. She's got plenty of time to set herself and deliver it into the box and Diani with the header this time. Her first Champions League goal for Lyon since signing in the summer from PSG. Ball delivered into the box and Wendy Renard. Lyon with a sick with the aerial deliveries and when it's Diani, sorry, Diani just in front of Renard. Early delivery looking for Heggeberg. Loose ball will find Diani and she punished Brown. Yes she can. Soars over Aurora Mickelson and Lyon once again in this group stage campaign hit the front early on. Kadi Diatu, Diani with the goal. Her sixth of the season and Brown's bright start is undone. Playing themselves into... Saint-Paulton as well. Lyon looking to add to their advantage early doors in the second half and Diani does just that. That is the clinicalness that Sonia Bompastor wants to see from her side and Diani providing it beautifully. Her second of the game, Lyon's third. On their way to the three points. Three points which would virtually see them through to the knockout stages. Van der Donk charging forward and still going. What a run this is. Flicks it back. Clever pass. What's at the end of it all? Oh that is... Diani nods it in. Olympic Lyonnais have six and that is a masterpiece of a goal. That is a footballing work of art from one of Europe and indeed the world's most feared teams in women's football. Van der Donk just kept going and going with that boundless energy that she's so well known for. Then had the intelligence to backheel it for Sarah Dierbritz. Just about managed to prevent the shot on goal. Dumourne with the header wide. Another ball into the box towards Herat and the knockdown was good and Diani makes absolutely sure. There's no doubt now. Lyon heading through safely now to the semi-finals. Diani with the third on the night and their fifth goal of the tie. Really good ball over wasn't it? The knockdown right into the path of Diani. Dumourne on the half turn. Look how many bodies PSG have behind the ball though. Diani wide for Carpenter. Beautiful cut back. Diani bidding a grudge against the badge she used to wear and this semi-final tie is alive. Starts with Diani as well. Picks up to Carpenter. Diana just completely switches off and doesn't go with her run. It's a little toe poke really.
