Patricia Guijarro Top Plays of 2023-24 | UWCL Stars of the Season

Drop to Badia. Brutus was waiting just on the edge of the six-yard box. Might come back for a shot from Patry and that's goal number three for Barcelona before halftime. She loves a Champions League goal and she's extended the defending champions lead here in Sweden. Barcelona three. Put it straight to the stopper but this could be danger. Well you can stop it once but not the second time. Patry Gihara gives Barcelona the lead and it's what they do best. You can frustrate them, you can thwart them. Very few have been able to stop them completely and the Blaugrana have the lead on Champions League match day five. Well Patry Gihara, she loves the goal from midfield. Six for the season for Barcelona's captain on the night now. Frankfurt had chances together. Strong on the header, so is Marta. Alexander turning away from Feria. Bram Hansen again. Patry's in the middle and it's another. Patry Gihara and there's daylight opening up on this victory night and already Seychelles in a silence that perhaps isn't so stunned. You recall the best team in the world in the build-up by Philippa Patel and their side have been giving the run around so far. Business as usual for a side who are now so accustomed to winning. On the plate by Bram Hansen, turning provider. Patry Gihara, deadly at both ends of the field. Gihara happy. Here's the corner to Barcelona. Lizzy Bronze is there, back across goal. Brilliant save by Mikkelsen and can't be stabbed in by Gihara. It's another corner to savour the match so far from Aurora Mikkelsen. Mikkelsen did so well here and again the chances that Branagh are giving away are quite easy chances and relying on Mikkelsen, you know, they're doing the hard work quite well. It's still a long way back, make no mistake. Here's Patry, she lifts a goal in the Champions League and so does Rolfer. Frame of the goal. The Swedes saw it open up for it from the boot of Patry and that time Aurora Mikkelsen was beaten. Barcelona to pick up the pieces. Patry Gihara, on she goes. Can she finish it? Oh and it's cleared off the line. Patry's there again. I think it was initially Haram who gives the ball away. I think it's a first touch and Shields didn't go in and engage with Gihara right at that point and she's trying to nick it past the goalkeeper and in the end it's right on the edge.
