Saint-Saens: Concert Piece Op. 154, seems to me to have been written for a film as film music.

Forest animals grazing peacefully, rays of sunlight penetrating through the branches of tall, old trees. An image of peace and tranquillity until excitement startles the animals, who soon find peace again.

It seems to be music that could perfectly accompany a fairy tale or a legend as a film score.
