Day In The Life: 1st Snow Trip LIVING IN A VAN

Bye Pa! And we are back at our van Home sweet home We've just been with friends and family for a week up north and now we're back at our home which we miss so much The bananas are perfectly raw Oh my gosh, what a welcome Seriously it feels so good to just come back to the van as much as we absolutely love seeing friends and family, it's so We get sick of them really really fast They all watch these videos so it's just so good being the three of us, it's just we love it so much. Anyway, we just found through Google found Happy Cow a vegan bakery and cafe that's 12 minutes away from here, it's called Sweet Bones something, I don't know so we're going to go check it out Alright, and we got one of these to share Looks pretty good You want some? Yeah, we just got this chocolate, if you guys have tried it, let me know, but we freaking love it, it's the hazelnut vegan chocolate it's so good, tastes sort of like Nutella but I just want to say briefly there's so many people walking around today all dressed up, it's Melbourne Cup Day, it's like the race that stops the nation, it's a horse race and only in the past couple of years I've really thought about what that really means and animals are not here for our entertainment it just does not sit well with me you're literally riding around on an animal whipping it I don't know, let me know what you guys think about it, but there's a documentary that's really interesting called Earthlings and talks about the five different ways that we abuse animals and one of them is for human entertainment How is this happening still? How today are we still using animals like this just for our entertainment? These are living, breathing beings and we're just we don't have the right we don't have the right, I don't think so Anyway, it really really upsets me but we are heading to the coastline now it's like three hours away, we're going to a place called Marimbula and this is where Chris went on all his family holidays when he was growing up, so I'm really excited to go there and see it because we haven't been there yet You ready? Let's go Sometimes I wish that I could ask you guys in real time to help us make decisions, because they're like should we go to Jindavine which is like alpine hiking or should we go to the coast? It'd be so cool if you guys could choose for us Or maybe I just need to practice making decisions and we're currently drinking water out of a sand bucket Just to be sure you guys understand, like we do not go anywhere fast We're pulling up so often What's your head? You smell, you smell Good morning everyone We are in a place called Kuma in the snowy mountains and it is cold but it's also beautiful here and we are going to go and find some snow today and we're going to cook oats for brekkie You want to say see ya? Bye Alright, we're up and we're cold and we are looking for this vegan cafe that someone told us about because we ran out of gas on our cooker so we can't make porridge this morning so we're hoping we can go and find some breakfast there I don't know if it's cold or like weird Nah, it's cold I know, people are just like wearing normal clothing and we're like what the hell Okay, so we'll show you what we end up getting for brekkie and then we're going to go find some snow hopefully You want a smoothie? Yeah Oh no Here, you want to hold it down? There you go Okay, we just are leaving Rawsome Earth Cafe and Jessie was there serving us and she was so nice and she gave Ayaan that little gift but we didn't end up getting breakfast because I really feel like warm oats and it's a raw cafe so we found somewhere to get our gas filled up and we're going to go and have some oats then we're going to go to the op shop, like the second hand shop to find some warm clothes for Ayaan because they're going through the snow So brekkie time Yeah, nice warm porridge Porridge? And look how beautiful this park is, it's so green Porridge, banana, dates apple, hemp seeds and hemp seeds Yeah, this sunshine is seriously glorious Look at us We've all got beanies We are ready for the snow guys Ready, let's go Let's do it Okay, it is incredible here, we've just pulled up this little stream and we're already planning when we're going to come back here and snowboard next winter I cannot believe how beautiful the countryside is, it makes me miss the mountains so bad Yeah, me too Wow Snow guys we made it Ayaan, your new jump is amazing and guys this is happening, I am rocking socks and shoes Look how cute Ayaan is The snow?
