Israeli forces have launched what they
describe as limited operations in Rafa
with Netanyahu telling Dr Phil in a new
interview overnight that the area is
hamas's final stronghold we've destroyed
about 20 battalions of the hamas's 24 uh
terrorist battalions we have another
four to go there in Rafa and that's why
we want to go into Alpha because we
can't leave them there it comes as
ceasefire talks have stalled with Israel
and Hamas at odds over the parameters of
a potential agreement the US also making
it clear any deal must apply to all of

it to exclude Rafa a major military
operation in Rafa would further weaken

further create distance from its
Partners in the region who actually
share Israel's goal of seeing Hamas

there's a credible humanitarian plan to
protect the civilians there but so far
