Since Elon Musk posted these tweets on X about the idea of catching Starship in mid-air with the new Mechazilla system instead of using traditional landing legs, he has received more doubts and opponents rather than support.
This makes sense because breaking the principles in rocketry is inherently risky, let alone testing new things on a powerful rocket like Starship.
Especially, with this new approach, catching the super heavy will be like catching an egg.
