Poems From Festival Of Books, Part 4 #gooddeedsintroubledtimes
People drew a random word related to Gan Jing World’s mission from a Word Jar and wrote a poem about it! The Tucson Festival of Books was held from March 9 to 10, 2024. #sunshinestateofmindaz #kindnessiscool
Alexis, I work from home. I'm a mom to a teenager. I have two dogs. I'm married and I love my community. I love Tucson.
What's your work?
It's art and my poem is art is expression, art is connection, art is for everyone.
What does art mean?
Art is open to interpretation for anyone. No matter where you're from, who you are, your background, everyone can enjoy art.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
My name is Abigail and I do a lot of things. It's hard to pick one and the word I picked out of the jar is love.
Love is a book you read with different people in it. The more you read the book, the more you love the book and the people.
Can you kind of explain?
I kind of see the world as a book because there are different chapters in life like the growing stage, just different chapters in life and one of those chapters is starting to like people.
