The Rafale is a twin-engine, delta-wing, highly flexible medium multi-role fighter aircraft developed and built by The French aircraft company Dassault.In the 1970s, the French air force and navy sought new aircraft as a successor.In order to save costs, France tried to join the Eurofighter program and jointly develop it with other countries. However, due to the huge difference in the functional requirements of the fighter, France finally decided to develop the fighter solely.Finally, the rafale prototype was developed by Dassault Aviation, whose avionics and aerodynamic profile optimised its role in air control aircraft.
The French military expects it to replace seven different specialised aircraft, including carrier-based fighters, as the backbone of the French navy and air force for the next generation.The main users of the aircraft are the French air Force and the French Navy.In 2015, orders were placed from Egypt (24), India (36), Qatar (36) and Greece (24).
陣風戰鬥機是法國達索（Dassault）飛機公司開發和建造的雙引擎、三角翼、高靈活性的中型多用途戰機。在1970年代，法國空軍及海軍尋求新戰機作為後繼機種。為省減成本，法國嘗試加入歐洲戰機計劃，與其他國家共同研發，但因對戰機功能要求差別過大，最終法國決定獨資研發。最後由達索航空研發出陣風的原型，其航電及氣動外形優化其在製空戰機的角色。
法國軍方預計以其取代七種不同專門化的軍機，包括艦載戰機，做為法國海軍及空軍下一代的主力。該款戰鬥機目前的主要使用者為法國空軍以及法國海軍。2015年分別取得來自埃及（24架）與印度（36架）、卡塔爾（36架）以及希臘（24架）的訂單。
