SpaceX is famous for its different visions of space travel.
This is shown clearly through their goal to establish a city of 1 million on Mars by 2050. For them, space is spent for all, not only astronauts. Sounds great, right?
However, before immersing yourself in that wonderful future vision. Keep in mind that Mars is always a destination for death.
Indeed, the atmosphere of Mars contains mostly carbon dioxide, and obviously, none of you can live by breathing carbon dioxide instead of oxygen.
If an organism could photosynthesize using this gas, it would likely still be destroyed by the extremely high natural radiation level on Mars, up to 24-30 rads per year or 40-50 times the average on Earth.
So, how will Elon Musk solve this problem for his crazy goal?
Well, there is a truth that he has developed a specialized type of space suit, specifically an EVA to help ordinary people like us breathe and live on Mars.
Of course, it would not look like this.
It will all be kicked off by the Polaris Dawn program which is the successor to Inspiration-4, the World's first civilian space mission taken by SpaceX.
