These pictures were taken on what I consider to be the coldest day of my film excursions. Now I know why, hoar frost can only form when there is a very high relative humidity of over 90% and an air temperature below -8°C (yes, I just did some research and what MeteoSchweiz says should be true). Well, the whole valley was covered in hoarfrost, there were long needles of hoarfrost crystals on the ground and there wasn't a breath of wind, so the cold was trapped in the shadiest part of the little valley at the very back. Of course, I drove as far into the valley as I could on the snow-covered road to get the biggest crystals I could. Yes, I knew at the time that it was extremely cold, but after this research I know that it was at least -8°C. Brrrrr. Good news we have four seasons and not just winter all year round. Looking forward to spring :-)

這些照片是我認為拍攝電影時最冷的一天拍攝的。現在我知道為什麼了，白霜只有在相對濕度超過90%且氣溫低於-8°C時才能形成（是的，我剛做了一些研究，MeteoSchweiz所說的應該是真的）。嗯，整個山谷都覆蓋著白霜，地面上有長長的白霜晶體針，一絲風都沒有，所以寒冷被困在小山谷最後面最陰暗的部分。當然，我盡可能開車進入山谷，穿過被雪覆蓋的道路，以獲得我能找到的最大的晶體。是的，我當時知道天氣非常冷，但經過這番研究後，我知道至少是-8°C。哆嗦。好消息是我們有四季，而不是整年都是冬天。期待春天的到來 :-)
