How Mochi is made traditionally (Mochi pounding) 〜餅つき〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe

In this video, I am showing how Mochi dough is made/pounded traditionally in Japan. This is something many Japanese homes used to do in the time of New Years as part of tradition. Unfortunately it is not so common to be done, since it requires some hard work and many hands, as you will see in the video.
