At the Chinese gift shop in North Park, wishing Simon a #HappyChineseNewYear, #yearofthedragon

The Kam Fung gift shop on University Avenue is packed with treasures––figurines, Buddha statues, dragons, lanters, jewelry, pottery, plants, feng shui items and a lot more.Simon Wong has owned the store since 1985. He is originally from Hong Kong and a very friendly, caring person. The San Diego Union Tribune wrote a great article about his store last year. I was so happy when he told me about it and looked it up right away. I wish him and his family success and good health in the year of the dragon. It's always fun browsing in his store, and I bought a few items over the years that I cherish, including a dragon that was used in the Earth Day children's parade on April 17, 2007.
