Visiting the Kam Fung Chinese Gift Shop at the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

We have a small Chinese community in North Park, and the Kam Fung Gift Shop is the center of it. It's an interesting and popular little store on University Ave. that's been here for over 30 years. With hundreds of unique items, you'll find a little treasure for your home of garden, for sure.

Simon, the owner, is originally from Hong Kong. He's a kind and humble person who loves talking with people and knows what's happening in the neighborhood. I thought I'd go visit and wish him a happy Mid-Autumn Moon Day. He was happy to see me and asked whether I had some moon cake. I told him I'd be getting some tonight.

Happy Moon Festival. Enjoy the full moon and try some moon cake! By the way, the Chinese believe there's a lady on the moon, and she's got a white pet rabbit.
