Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil (WI-01) questioned the use of private funding going to politically-biased election administration efforts with witnesses Wednesday at a committee hearing titled “American Confidence in Elections: Confronting Zuckerbucks, Private Funding of Election Administration.”
Since 2020, 27 states have prohibited private funding of election administration
