We were visiting Germany when we saw the beautiful Ruhr river. A large cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) stood there flapping its wings for a long time. When Christian set up on the bank with his tripod and camera, he barely flapped his wings. He kept looking at the camera. Hopefully we didn't disturb him while he was fishing, after all he lives on fish.
