值得一提的是，臺灣也在近日增購了“海馬斯”火箭炮。臺防務部門5月29日證實，拜登上任後對臺首項軍售案——總價7.5億美元“M109A6自行火炮軍售”已經撤案，改爲增購18套“海馬斯”火箭炮，加上先前購買的11套，合計將有29套。
