Gloucester Cathedral - Featuring Charity Quin

GLOUCESTER CATHEDRAL
Wonderful views of Gloucester's Cathedral accompanied by the incredible vocals of Charity Quin. This video has only come about by pure chance. I was at the cathedral to practice shooting on my new camera. Charity was visiting the cathedral while on holiday. We met by chance in the magnificent Lady Chapel, an intimate space for worship and contemplation. The Lady Chapel was the last part of the church to be built during the Medieval period in the 15th century. Dedicated to ‘Our Lady’, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, the Lady Chapel is unique in its design and decoration. The acoustics of the Chapel are amazing and I was very lucky to hear Charity taking full advantage. At the time I wasn't filming and was just in awe of the vocal range and control I was hearing. Once she'd finished I just couldn't resist asking if I could film what I'd just witnessed. Charity very kindly agreed and I have to admit I didn't film the scene very well, I was still learning how use my new camera.

Hopefully, this video with clips of Gloucester Cathedral accompanied by Charity's vocals will make up for my amateur filming. Hope you enjoy.
