Well good morning guys, looks like there is a beautiful weather today.
My raincoat is now dry, my shoes now are dry, and look at this!
What a beautiful sunny day, so lucky. Wow, let's continue the road trip.
So now the reception they just told me that because I stay more than 12 hours I have to pay
100,000 dong more. I didn't know that but that's fine.
Thank you. Rice with egg, rice with Gabi. No, rice with Gabi, rice with Gabi. Yes, okay.
Thank you. Okay guys, first stop Vietnamese coffee and then we continue the road trip.
I like the Vietnamese coffee but this one is like super super sweet. I'm really happy that today
it's a sunny day, I hope it will stay like this and it will not change too quickly. And today's
destination is Nam Cat Tien which was yesterday's destination but I couldn't reach it due to the
rain so I'll try to reach it today. It should be about three hours, 125 kilometers, but I heard
that usually with the stops and lunch and breaks and the roads and the twist it might probably take
more, maybe like four or five hours. And one thing that I noticed is that even though the traffic
here it's insane, there are like no rules, everybody's just crossing each other, especially
like in Ho Chi Minh City, but even here it's like wild, you know, driving in Vietnam is wild. Even
though it's wild, in the past five days that I've been driving around I haven't seen a single
accident, nothing. Everything is just flowing, you know, everything is just flowing in a very
orderly way in the total chaos, so that's very fascinating.
With the egg, chicken. All right guys, time for a banh mi, it's my breakfast and lunch together.
I think I'm almost like halfway, I almost arrived at my destination, look at my legs.
Insane, so dirty.
All right, I got my banh mi, looks pretty good. This is like a market area and this is the Christian
church, man, look at this, how stunning and beautiful. I actually need to buy some water
together with the banh mi.
Vietnamese people, so nice and friendly. Ah, maybe down there, but I see coconuts,
I'm not sure if they also sell water, but coconut would be
would be fine for me, even though I really need water now.
So I paid 15 000 for the coconut and I think 15 000 for the banh mi as well.
Hello, hi, how are you? Thank you, bye bye.
All right guys, I'm gonna find a place around here to eat my baguette, my banh mi and coconut,
I hope also to find some water because I need some water and then we continue the trip.
Man, that banh mi was delicious and I'm looking for a coffee actually now and I found this place,
it's really really nice, so let's check it out together and see if I can get a coffee.
The view is spectacular, what a beautiful place, but looks like nobody's here,
looks like an abandoned beautiful coffee shop, so we might have to find another place.
Found it, it's actually instead of here, it's downstairs the coffee shop right here, perfect.
Coffee? Oh nice, okay, and I got my coffee, it looks delicious.
I got water, what do you think, we should fly the drone? I think we should, huh?
Look how beautiful, let's go.
Guys, this road in the countryside is amazing with this nature,
with the sun, with the blue sky, it's super peaceful. I'm having a blast with this
Honda XR150, of course I miss my Africa Twin, I wish I had my Africa Twin here,
would be like amazing, but you know, also this bike, it's pretty fun, you know, it does its job.
Guys, I want to share this special moment with you, because while I was driving I had tears in
my eyes and goosebumps, because I just felt so happy and just so alive, and just realizing that
I'm doing a motorbike trip in the middle of Vietnam on this beautiful sunny day, in total
freedom, two days ago was my birthday, you know those moments when you just drive and reflect on
your life, like man that's ******* awesome, and I started to tear up, because life can be extremely
hard, can be extremely tough and extremely harsh, and I know very well, because I went through so
many hard times in my life, but at the same time life can be also so extraordinary, it can give you
so much joy, so much excitement, so much adrenaline, so much fun, so many positive things, it's such a
funny balance between the darkness and the light, between the pain and the joys, it's really
fascinating, but for me now it's one of those moments where I really feel like joy and tears of
joy, and I want to share this moment with you, because you know, because this is like a dream
coming true, traveling Vietnam with a motorbike, it's such a special moment, and I know
that this road trip in Vietnam I really wanted to do for a long time, and finally I'm doing it,
and I'm sure in the next 20 years, 40 years, 50 years, when I would be on my deathbed at 90 years
old or 100 years old, actually my grandfather just turned 100 years old two days ago, the same day of
my birth, I turned 34, he turned 100 years old, and that's amazing, and I really hope to live as long
as him, and I'm sure that when I will be 8 years old, 9 years old, I will look back and I will still
remember this road trip, man, I will still remember this time in Vietnam, and it's just amazing!
My aunt will take you to the room. Okay. I will be back there around like three hours. Three hours?
Yeah, because I have a class to learn 255, so my aunt will take you to the room now.
Ah okay, to the room now, okay, thank you. Okay, thank you. See you later. Bye-bye, see you later.
Wow, what a river!
Oh my god, beautiful! And this is my room. Wow, beautiful.
All right, guys, this is my room for tonight. Amazing, I'm so surprised. It's called Green Hope Lodge.
I just paid 470 baht per night and includes breakfast, and you got this beautiful bed, it's
like a little bungalow with a fan and AC as well, fridge, big bed, here you got your toilet, shower,
sink, and toilet, and the view from this place, it's insane! Let me show you the view quickly.
Look at this! Wow! I don't know if I can step here. Yeah, I can. Oh my god, this is amazing!
They are doing some constructions there, so maybe it's not so peaceful during the day, but this river,
it's incredible, and I heard from Patrick, the guy that rented me the motorbike, that this is a
beautiful national park, so big, and you can do so many activities here. Unfortunately, I don't have
much time to stop here more than one night, but I heard there are so many beautiful things to do,
but this is already beautiful enough for me. Man, we have to fly the drone here for sure.
All right, guys, I think I will end the video right here. What a journey, and what an adventure,
and this is just the beginning, so stay tuned because in the next video we'll continue this
beautiful journey around Vietnam. Thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next video.
Bye-bye!
