WHAT IS BRAIN EDUCATION TV? Brain Education TV offers content on mental health and emotional intelligence to help people with loneliness, depression, anxiety, and stress. The foundation of our content comes from Brain Education, an academic study from South Korea for using the power of the brain to manifest your dream life. Brain Education is officially recognized by the Government of South Korea and is backed by over 40 years of research and application. Since it's inception, millions of people around the world have practiced and benefitted from Brain Education (including us! 😁).
WHY WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH… So many people from all walks of life—regardless of social status or background—suffer silently from mental health and emotional wellness related issues. We believe people should no longer hide about what they feel and what they are struggling with. Rather, we believe healing happens when we honestly feel and express ourselves, take the action steps necessary to get better by getting to the root of the issue, and then find a community that honors and supports my healing process. Mental health and emotional wellness are 100% attainable and is our inherent natural state for all of us. We, at Brain Education TV, want to be your solution, your shoulder to cry on, your go-to place to turn to for constructive dialogue and resources related to mental health and emotional intelligence and wellbeing. You are NOT alone!
Brain Education is what gave us the courage to overcome our own mental health struggles and create the lives we want, and now we hope you can too through the videos we share on this channel.
Hello Earth Citizens, my name is Courtney and I'm a Brain Education Instructor in Boston.
Today I'd like to show you a 10 minute routine for positive thinking and brain healing.
We have a saying in brain education, good news makes a good brain.
When we feed our brain good information, we tend to be happier, more creative human beings.
Unfortunately, many of us engage in negative self-talk, like I can't do it, with underlying
self-limiting beliefs like I'm not good enough.
It's very natural for patterns of negative thinking to form due to memories of past failures.
We teach ourselves to expect the worst and to avoid disappointment from getting our hopes up.
So when we decide we want to be more positive and optimistic, it means we need to let go
of any negative information we may have been storing in our brain in order to make space
for positive thinking.
We're going to do that with a practice called EFT, an energy meditation for brain healing.
Emotional freedom technique involves tapping on specific points on the body which correspond
to meridians used in Eastern medicine.
By tapping on these points while focusing on a particular emotional issue or problem,
EFT helps in reducing the emotional impact of memories or incidents that trigger emotional distress.
As we begin, follow along where I tap and repeat after me.
I choose to create a habit of positive thinking.
I choose to have a more positive outlook on life.
I choose to expect good things will happen.
I choose to be more optimistic and I choose to deeply and completely love and accept myself.
I choose to have positive expectations and believe good things will happen.
I choose to trust myself.
I choose to feel more confident, confident that things will turn out the way I want and
confident that I have what it takes.
I choose to let go of the belief that I'm not good enough.
I choose to clear all the doubts based on events of my past that make me feel like it's
easier not to get your hopes up.
I forgive myself for being negative and I choose to love, honor and accept myself fully.
There are things I want to create and I know I have to put in the work but I choose a more
positive way of thinking to help me along the way.
I choose to expect that I can get what I want.
I choose to believe that I can do it.
I trust good things are going to happen and I trust that I deserve good things.
I allow myself to be more optimistic so that I can overcome any challenges that come my way.
Any past experiences that I'm holding on to that make me pessimistic, even though they
used to keep me safe I now choose to let them go along with any habits of negative thinking.
I trust in my ability to create something new.
I trust in my ability to think positively.
Trust good news makes a good brain and I choose to give my brain good information.
I choose to give my brain good information.
I choose to be more positive.
I choose to let go of anything that doesn't allow it.
I trust in my ability.
I choose to give good information to my brain.
Now you can rest your hands down, take a deep breath, notice your body, and allow for anything
to arise as you breathe.
Relax your brain.
Now you can lift and rub your hands together, breathing in, breathing out, feel your hair.
Then gently stop, opening your hands a short distance, feeling your fingers, your palm.
Let your hands start to drift a little farther apart and closer together without touching.
Sense the space in between your hands.
Now raise your hands up to either sides of your head.
Still sensing the space between your hands moving farther and closer without touching.
Relax your brain.
Now start to move more freely, slowly, as if to sweep away any dark or sticky energy.
Visualize in its place bright white light expanding and brightening through your brain.
Taking a deep breath in and out, turn your palms to face the earth and sweep down the
center of your body, pushing energy down to your center.
Again, sweeping up, palms to the sky, and down, grounding your energy into your body.
One more time, and gently smile as you rest your hands on your lower abdomen, open your
eye, and breathe.
How did it go?
Would you let me know in the comments what you felt?
Maybe we can't become positive, optimistic human beings overnight.
But we can make consistent choices to be positive that will lead to a healthy habit
of positive thinking.
