A review of the Breitkopf edition in the Allgemeine Musikalische Zeitung of March 1802 stated:
"The reviewer, who has the score of this wonderful concerto before him, can give all good clarinettists the happy certainty that no one other than Mozart - only he - could have written it; that consequently, in view of its beautiful, regular and tasteful composition, it must be the first clarinet concerto in the world; for as far as the reviewer is aware, this is the only one of his that exists ... . Finally, the reviewer feels it necessary to point out that Mozart wrote this concerto for a clarinet that goes down to C. Thus, for example, the following passages in the first part must all be transposed down an octave. ..."
Badgers live in this field near Thun, Switzerland. The farmer who farms it came to see if I would photograph the badgers and explained that the maize harvester loses cobs and he deliberately leaves them for the animals. He said: "I'm not a conservationist, just a normal farmer, I like to leave some for the animals. The small animals also need something to live on".
