Grace the Giraffe's Gift of Patience
In the heart of the lush savannah, lived Grace the Giraffe.
Grace was known for her long neck and even longer legs,
but most of all, she was known for her patience.
One sunny day, Grace saw a group of little monkeys
trying to reach the sweetest bananas high in the trees.
They jumped and chattered, but they couldn't reach them.
Grace wanted to help.
She stretched her long neck and gently plucked the bananas
for the monkeys, who were grateful and cheered.
Thank you, Grace.
Word spread across the savannah, and soon,
animals from far and wide came to Grace for help.
Some wanted fruits, while others needed leaves from the tallest trees.
Grace never rushed or complained.
She helped them all with her patient heart and gentle kindness.
One evening, an old tortoise named Timmy approached Grace.
He moved slowly and said,
Dear Grace, I need your help, but I can't rush.
Can you be patient with me?
Grace smiled and said,
Of course, Timmy.
From that day on, Grace learned that sometimes,
the greatest gift you can give is the gift of patience.
And she helped Timmy, the slowest of them all,
with all the time in the world.
Patience is a gift that can make a big difference in someone's life.
