Ok, I understand that I have to simplify the house. I decided to eliminate the superfluous, to make space, to want to lighten my life. How do I do it?
Where do I start? This video is to give you the method, the definitive method, the method that you will want to try and you will see the results, assured.
So, ready? Attention, there is no way to go back, because simply once you know how to do it, you will want to do it.
I'm Irina and I welcome you to the channel Spazio Grigio.
The reason why people don't do decluttering, that is, they don't eliminate the superfluous, is this feeling of being overdone.
Where do I start? There are too many things and if I don't finish, I have to take everything out, I have to spend the whole weekend.
I call this the mega decluttering, which few people do, unfortunately, even though they know the benefits of letting go and wanting to do it.
But why, I asked myself, why don't they do it? The answer is quite obvious, because there is no time.
People don't have time to do the decluttering of the whole closet and let's imagine the whole house.
In short, there is the life in between, the work, the family and I understand perfectly, now with a small child I don't imagine doing it.
Although I am of the idea that time must be created, as it is created when you have an appointment, the same.
But this time the appointment is with your own home, with yourself, for your own well-being, for your own future.
But what often happens is that you wait for the perfect moment, the day is free and you procrastinate.
This is where my method comes from, tried, both on me and on many of you, and it works and involves taking 10 minutes.
I say you can also set the timer, I say it a little for fun, but you can do it.
And now? And now you open a drawer and let it go, without thinking too much, without making mental plans, you ask yourself these three questions.
Do I really need it? Does it bring me value? Does it deserve to occupy my time and my space?
Or if we want more practical questions, do I use it? Do I like it? If not, go away, there is no reason why you are still there.
Seriously, you have to be careful when it comes to your own space and your own time.
The 10-minute method therefore allows you to take the initiative without waiting too long.
I'm sure you could take 10 minutes even today, or tomorrow.
It allows you to let go a little at a time and thus create the habit of letting go, because that's what we want to create, a habit for life.
And believe me, it will help you a lot today, as in 10 or 20 years.
It allows you to move the air and bring life to our things.
When they are there, in the drawers, in the furniture, in the boxes, all stuffed, crushed, it is as if they were not there.
They have no life, they don't tell us anything, we don't even remember what we have.
I'm sure you'll find things you didn't even remember, or that you knew you had, but you didn't know where they were.
And this is a waste, not using your own things, which could be useful to us, because of the overflow, the mountain of never-knowing.
Because one day it could be useful, yes of course, how not.
This method also allows you to reduce the things to let go a little, so that there is no impossible task.
Mega decluttering is great for those who want to do it, that is to pull out everything of a certain category, for example the drawers, from all the parts that are there.
It's just that it's more demanding and takes more time.
Starting with this mega decluttering, when you haven't yet refined the ability to let go, this habit of letting go,
and when there are still too many things around, too much junk around, it's at least a challenge, which often doesn't even start.
How to apply the ten-minute method?
Let's take for example the closet.
A drawer at a time, or a category at a time, for example the pants, the underwear, the bags, the steps are two.
Take out all the pants you have and put them on a fairly large space, on the bed, on the floor.
And two, ask yourself, what do I keep? Ask yourself if you really like it, if it feels good when you wear it, if it feels comfortable.
Try to see if you've used it in the last few months, the last year, and if you can do without it.
If you keep it for safety, for the never-knowing, let it go.
Then, ok, there's the middle way.
One thing is to have a couple, two things, because it could be useful, there is some emergency, this is common sense for me, I don't even consider it.
Having two extra dishes, ok, having 30, no.
Another thing is to have half a closet, half a house of the never-knowing, let me explain.
We don't look for extremism or perfection, but to eliminate the superfluous, what we don't need, what we actually don't use.
At the moment I don't have pants to let go, but these two pairs of jeans, I don't like how they fit me now.
They fit me very badly, they are big, they are wide, I bought them postpartum when I didn't feel well, nothing.
However, they are of good quality, I still like them as jeans, so for now I keep them, but not in the closet with the things I use daily.
Ok?
You could also help yourself with the only beautiful things method, that is, focus on having only beautiful things, among what you have.
Do you like to see that thing? Do you like it? Is it beautiful?
Now let's see a kitchen drawer.
I use this drawer for everything that doesn't have its own dedicated space, like the shelves that are here.
Here I put everything I don't know where to put, and sometimes it gets so full that I can't close it, so I order by letting it go regularly.
So I use it as an example.
Anyway, I take everything out.
Spontaneous question, can I do it without having to take everything out?
Yes, you can, but I can't assure you that the result will be so satisfying.
Because when things stay in the drawer, as I said before, it's as if they were non-existent.
We get so used to their presence, where they are, that we don't even see them.
This thing here, do I need it to be there? No, but if it had stayed there, maybe it would have stayed there.
Bags.
I also take this opportunity to give it a clean.
So a quick look, I never use this.
I hate using this, things must also please us to use them.
This is not its place here.
I really need disposable chopsticks when I don't use disposable ones.
How long have I had them?
I've never used them.
How long do I think I'll keep them?
So let's question the things we have and why they are here.
I have no idea what this thing is.
I've never used this thing, I don't know where it came from.
My mum must have put it.
Aluminium foil, I never use it, I don't know why.
I don't know where it comes from.
I've put it in order.
I propose this to my mother-in-law.
This goes in the garage.
This goes in the garbage.
I have a couple of things, I simply change places.
I know that many of you need extra help.
I listened to you and I created a course.
Over a year since I created it, more than a thousand people have followed it.
This time, in this edition, there will be even more focus on the live streams with me,
in which I answer your questions.
These are group live streams in which we see many concepts, doubts, particular situations.
The goal is to do the final decluttering, to make space in the closet, in the house,
but also in the personal and mental sphere.
You can find all the details below in the video description.
I also leave the link in the first comment, always below.
What is important is that the registrations are open for another five days,
and then we all leave together.
It's a journey, so you won't be able to register anymore.
Don't miss this opportunity if you feel like you want to change,
free, and you need that extra help.
I'm here, I'll be waiting for you in the course.
I hope the video was useful.
Leave a like and subscribe to the channel.
See you in the next video.
Until then, only beautiful things.
Peace.
