Another year of Independence Day in the U.S.
In this year's South Carolina parade,
there are fairy dancers and archers made up of local Falun Gong practitioners.
They join the community to celebrate the 247th anniversary of the founding of the United States with the American people.
Unlike previous years, this year's South Carolina Independence Day parade
is the first time that Falun Gong teams have appeared.
Many Falun Gong practitioners in Hanfu are made up of fairy dancers
dancing in the sun.
We want to express the spirit of Falun Dafa,
the spirit of killing people,
so that the American people can see us.
They're beautiful.
Beautiful artistry, beautiful outfits,
just brings a smile to your face.
So I think they need to be included more often,
and that way we can see the different kinds of cultures
that we are surrounded with and that we live with.
The fairy dancers are made up of more than 40 people.
They dress up in Falun Dafa,
and wear yellow to show the core concept of kindness.
I think it's something more people should be sending out.
We need more of that.
The more we hear about it,
the more that I think people will behave that way.
On the day of the American Independence Day,
Falun Dafa practitioners are also grateful to be able to have a religiously free environment in the United States.
To be able to live here in a good way,
and to be able to persevere in one's practice,
to have such a good environment,
the government has come to support us,
so we feel very fortunate.
We also cherish this opportunity.
I think in the United States,
religious freedom cannot be seen in China.
Because in China, there are still many religions that are persecuted.
And then there are so many people who can appear on this street,
and then there is such a big parade,
which is not allowed.
So I think this is a very rare opportunity.
And then it's not easy for everyone to recognize our faith.
According to the organizer,
this year's parade gathered 45 local organizations and groups.
About 10,000 people came to Kronos to celebrate the 247th birthday of the United States.
