In the summer, parents try to take care of their children so that they do not hang around and do not stick to gadgets.
Someone takes the child to the grandmother, someone to the children's camp, and someone has to spend all three months at home.
In any case, summer and summer holidays can be used to develop the potential of a child and to strengthen relations with him.
How to do this, the child psychologist Nadezhda Makhmutova will tell us today.
Watch in the program Summer at Grandma's Camp Alone. All the pros and cons for a child.
How to put a first-aid kit in the camp. Spoiler. Everyone needs it.
Neurogames for the development of the child's brain.
And the recipe. Dried tomatoes. Cook at home.
How does a child need to spend the summer to get rid of stress and recover and gain strength?
The best thing you can do for a child to really recover, gain strength, rest for the summer,
is to step aside from him during the summer holidays.
Do not insist on some activities, do not lead to a bunch of mugs,
do not insist, for example, on a trip to the camp or to the grandmother if he does not want it.
Give him the opportunity to do what he wants himself.
And this is normal if for a while the child will just lie down and not want anything,
recover from the school year, come to his senses.
Then he will have an interest in something.
And your task, respectively, is to support this interest as much as possible.
For children younger, but before adolescence, it will be very cool
if children spend the maximum amount of time in the fresh air.
For teenagers, this is, of course, also good.
But it is already more problematic for teenagers to go somewhere with themselves,
it is more difficult due to the age.
Here, too, it is not worth insisting, but, for example, you can motivate him,
a teenager, I mean, to go somewhere with friends to nature,
to find some interesting events in nature and not accidentally throw it.
Why am I talking about fresh air?
Because this is a great way to relieve stress and restore the nervous system
and pump up the neurodynamics, that is, endurance.
If the parents still decided to send the child to a children's camp,
at what age can this be done and is it necessary to prepare the child somehow before the camp?
As for children's camps, there is a separate story.
In principle, there are different types of camps, for example, a family camp.
And you can go to a family camp without any problems even with the smallest child,
even up to 3 years old, because he is in the presence of parents.
If we talk about being alone in the camp,
then it is important to understand that there are city camps,
when we take the child away in the morning and bring him in the evening.
And it is worth starting with exactly this type of camps.
And he will come somewhere at the age of 4.5-5 to 7-8 years old.
That is, for the pre-school period, it is not worth planning such excursion camps,
where the child is around the clock without parents.
Exceptions can be sports camps, where in general you can give a child 6.5 years old,
provided that he is familiar with the coach, has good contact with the coach,
and he wants to go there.
In ordinary camps, which we are used to,
where the child is around the clock without parents,
and he is there from a week to 14 days and more,
in such camps it is worth sending the child after 8-9 years.
Because it is important to see how ready the child is for the camp,
and some indicators of readiness are formed after 7 years.
And how can you understand if your child is ready for the camp or is it too early for him?
There are several indicators to rely on.
As part of this answer, I will talk about such full-fledged camps,
where the child leaves for a full day, and accordingly it is important to track.
First, did the child stay alone without parents for the period when you plan to give him to the camp?
But conditionally, does he stay with his grandmother for a week,
if you plan to give him for a week?
This is the first point.
The second point.
The third point.
The fourth point.
The fifth point.
The sixth point.
The seventh point.
What is usually given to the child with him to the camp?
Some kind of supplement for hygiene, more change of clothes, some kind of delicious snack.
But doctors recommend to collect the child, including a first aid kit.
What should be in it, super mom Tanya figured out.
In the summer camp, the child will have to be more independent than at home.
And, of course, despite the fact that he will be under the supervision of his guardians,
in everyday situations, the child is responsible for himself.
In case of minor inconveniences, the child will need his own first aid kit.
Its content will differ from what is in our home first aid kit,
and from what we usually take with us on a trip.
The content of the first aid kit should be clear to the child.
Make sure that he knows why each tool is needed and how to use it.
For convenience, you can print out a clear instruction on the printer, what and when to apply.
In the summer camp, the child will spend a lot of time in the fresh air,
which means that scratches, cuts and bruises are almost inevitable.
But this can be an opportunity for the child to learn to take care of himself.
For this we put in a separate box antiseptic wipes, bandages,
bandages necessary for bandages, bandages necessary for bandages.
And of course, the gums in order that the child can easily treat the wound
and seal it with plastic.
It is not worth putting in the first aid kit for a child the highly effective means.
It is not without reason that in the instructions most of the medicines are written to be kept in a place that is inaccessible to children.
But the exception is only those medicines that the child takes as prescribed by the doctor on a permanent basis.
But in advance, of course, it is worth making sure that there are necessary heat-reducing agents and, for example, antihistamines in the medical center of the camp.
To avoid the bites of insects, we put repellents. The sanitizer will help in the fight against microbes, and the first aid kit will take up very little space.
Burning yourself when most of the day is in the fresh air is not a tricky thing.
Therefore, be sure to put sunscreen in the child's first aid kit and teach them to use it.
Tell them that it is necessary to update it every two hours.
This, of course, is not a guarantee that the child will use it effectively.
Therefore, it is worth putting a remedy in the first aid kit that will help cope with the burn.
For example, classic Panthenol.
It is not necessary to give the child medicine for allergies or intestinal infections, but it is better to make sure that they are still in the first aid kit of the camp where the child will go.
You can put an electrolyte solution for soldering during intestinal infections.
It will not leak, it is packed in convenient packages that take up very little space.
Tell the child that when the temperature is high, you need to immediately turn to the elders.
However, with minor symptoms of a cold, you can cope on your own.
Put a nasal spray in the first aid kit and a natural-made bedding for the throat.
Here is such a small envelope we got.
Your personal first aid kit will insure the child in unpleasant situations, and will also teach him to take care of himself.
How to spend the holidays in good faith?
We are talking about this today with the psychologist Nadezhda Makhmutova.
Nadezhda Makhmutova is going to send the child to the camp. Now listen carefully.
Nadya, maybe you need to somehow pump up the child's skills necessary for the summer before the camp?
For example, skills to defend your opinion, or some kind of critical thinking, or the ability to communicate with other children.
How to do it and whether you can make it in time?
If before the camp we understand, I don't know, two or three weeks, a month, then no.
These skills are pumped up, they are formed and developed in a much longer perspective.
If we take a skill that we want to form, such as the ability to communicate,
then starting a year before the camp, it is very important to track how the child gets acquainted with the children,
how he gets involved in the game, how he gets involved in his game.
If you see that he is sinking somewhere, then teach him to do this.
That is, to get acquainted with him, to show how you get acquainted, to invite his friends to visit him,
to see how he behaves with his peers, to show him something.
Plus, there are games for the development of communicative skills, for the development of the emotional sphere.
Because without a developed emotional sphere, for example, it is very difficult to develop communicative skills.
As for critical thinking, there is generally a separate story.
And the skill of critical thinking in children begins to develop from the age of five.
By the age of seven, he becomes autonomous, more or less, and so independent.
And here, too, you need to look at the child, you need to teach the child to determine whether it is good or bad,
teach the child to see the consequences, teach the child to be responsible for some events in which he participated.
And, as it were, to bear these consequences.
If we talk about borders, then here the system of defending your borders is formed from the age of three and to infinity, I would say so.
As for the borders, I have a cool webinar on this topic.
And it is important to teach the child to defend his borders, starting from an early age, on his own example, first of all.
Here is the situation. The child was sent to the camp, but he is crying in the camp. He says he misses his parents.
What to do in this case? Should I take him home?
If you sent the child to the camp, and he is crying, missing his parents, asking to be taken away,
and this lasts, for example, not the first, but the second or third day, then you definitely need to take him away.
On the first day, we ask the leader, we contact the leader, we ask how the child is doing,
whether he has friends, how his communication is going, whether he needs anything.
On the second day, we listen to the child, and if he continues to say,
yes, mom, take me, I feel bad here, I can't live without you, then we come and take him away.
Summer is a time for rest and development of the child.
During the entire school year, he moved less than he needed, and now is the time to fill this movement deficit.
This can be done with the help of useful neuro-games.
On this path, there are legs and palms.
The child jumps and at the same time remembers the colors,
consolidates the concept of left and right, and also develops intersexual relationships.
Parents can make such a path with their own hands.
We made this path ourselves, it just goes into the clinolium,
and we printed out the palms and footprints and pasted them.
And now the ball on the balancing board.
This is one of the modern methods of correction in speech and intellectual development.
The child swings on the board and rolls the balls into the hole,
and at this time his ability to learn improves.
Instead of balls, you can give the child something else in his hand.
These can be balls. I throw the ball, and the child must catch the ball.
Also, the child throws me a bucket of balls, I change the position of my hands,
and the child must orientate and throw.
By the way, if you ask your father or grandfather, he will make such a balancing board in 20 minutes,
and you will not have to buy it.
This is an ordinary DSP, two semicircles are cut out,
they are connected with a transverse bar so that they do not diverge.
Now we will do the usual hand actions with our feet.
The task seems simple at first,
to shift the pencil from one pair of cubes to another.
But what turned out easily with the right foot does not come out with the left at all.
We continue to work in the same direction,
until the left leg turns out as good and neat as the right.
All parents know that the development of the brain begins with movement,
there cannot be one without the other.
Therefore, play with children, let them grow up smart and healthy.
The entire collection of useful mobile games is on the YouTube channel of the Mother's School,
and we continue to talk about summer with benefit.
We have already touched on the topic of the camp, and now we will continue it.
Nadya, we have already talked about children who cry in the camp because they miss their parents,
but what if a child cries because he misses gadgets?
He says, you are bored in the camp, there is no phone, tablet, computer.
In this case, how to act?
Give him all the gadgets with you, or say, be patient.
There are camps where gadgets are taken so that children learn to communicate,
so that children learn to be more friendly, to unite.
And here is a completely different story.
Here, first of all, we are waiting for a longer period,
because the child needs to get used to the fact that he is without a gadget.
In general, here, again, we call the leader,
ask what is being done to make the children pay,
what is being done to make the children adapt to living without a gadget,
what events are being held, for example.
And in general, if a child misses a gadget,
somewhere on the fourth or fifth day he turns on and no longer cries.
If a child spends the summer with his grandmother,
does he have a whole month or all three months?
That is, it turns out that he is without parents all this time.
Is this good or bad for the child?
In fact, this is a question in which there are nuances.
Here a lot depends on whether the grandmother has an emotional connection with the child
and how good the child is with the grandmother.
If everything is okay here,
then definitely the summer with the grandmother is much better than the summer alone at home.
Especially if the grandmother is not from the city, but from the village.
And, accordingly, the summer with the grandmother is the main way.
Summer in the fresh air, summer with some village friends on the river,
with village entertainment, which are not in the city of modern youth,
then it is definitely better, definitely cool.
But there is also such a moment.
When a child goes, for example, for a month or three with his grandmother,
it is important to understand what age the child is.
Is he ready for such a long separation with his mother?
And was there any experience?
Is the mother ready to come and just hug the child?
When he says, Mom, I missed you, I want to see you, hug you so much.
This is the first moment.
In order not to lose emotional connection with the child during this time,
it is very important to call on video, find out what the child is doing,
what he did, get involved in his life at least through the phone screen.
Our super mom Katya has a summer experiment in the kitchen.
Today she is cooking boiled tomatoes.
She checked two recipes and now will announce the best one.
Hello, this is Katya.
The tomato season is already on the way,
which means it's time to learn how to prepare them.
Today we will boil tomatoes in two ways
and see which of them is the most successful.
The dryer has already shown on the timer that it has finished its work.
And in the oven, too, the tomatoes were boiled.
Now let's see what surprise is waiting there.
These tomatoes stood in the oven for an hour.
These tomatoes stood in the oven for 8 hours.
The dryer actually worked much longer.
It took 14 hours to boil the tomatoes of the same variety.
The cooking time of tomatoes depends, first of all, on the variety of fruits.
These are thick-skinned and quite meaty,
so they dried much longer than expected.
But, of course, the shape of the cut also affects the speed of drying and the power of the dryer.
For example, this one is not so powerful,
so the time spent was significant.
Well, in the oven it turned out much faster.
But where is it tastier?
That's not all.
We will continue to cook tomatoes in these two jars.
Initially, those that were cooked in the oven were sprinkled with spices.
You can do it this way.
The dryers are in the original form.
But, by the way, you can not only fill them with oil, as you know,
but also with spices and other spices.
Of course, you can use ordinary refined oil for tomatoes.
It will act as a binding agent for tomatoes.
But you can use super-fragrant village oil.
It smells very tasty.
Or olive oil.
It also has a pleasant smell and taste.
Pour into the tomatoes.
We will leave them for a while, so that they get married to the spices.
And if we poured hot oil into the tomatoes,
the taste of the spices would be brighter.
Well, in fact, you can now evaluate
how tasty the dried tomatoes turned out.
Juicy, tasty, really bright.
These are those that were sprinkled with spices in the oven initially.
And we did not sprinkle anything with these.
Natural, so to speak.
We added more salt, more garlic and basil.
By the way, those in the dryer turned out to have a juicier taste.
Bright, rich.
And less pronounced spices.
I liked the tomatoes from the oven much more.
Firstly, these are faster recipes.
Secondly, it turned out to sprinkle them with spices.
If I did an experiment,
I would take out the middle of the tomatoes,
so that they would dry out even better.
Or I would use cherries,
to get such small, cute tomatoes with spices.
In general, the recipe is very tasty
and requires minimal effort from you.
A lot depends on who the child is spending the summer holidays with.
We have already talked about summer at grandmother's.
And psychologist Nadezhda Makhmutova says
that this option may have negative consequences.
Nadya, if you say
that there may be negative consequences
from the fact that the child is without parents for a long time,
is it possible to somehow prevent these negative consequences?
Grandmothers have completely different tasks,
not like parents.
If parents have a task to provide,
to raise, to support, and so on,
then to be a support,
to give the child a sense of security,
then the grandmother's main task
is to take care of the child.
And that is why grandmothers
often violate all kinds of boundaries,
allow what parents do not allow.
Not because they want to bore us,
not because they want to be better than us,
but they just don't have this
already built-in parental function
to bear responsibility, to raise.
They have other functions.
And that is why the boundaries often fly.
And this is the main consequence of a grandmother's summer.
You just need to be ready for it.
This is the price we pay
for the fact that the child has a great summer.
And if after the child comes home,
we clearly maintain the boundaries for some time,
clearly maintain hysterics somewhere,
the child turns on,
understands that he is no longer with his grandmother,
and everything falls into place.
I remember when I had a little daughter,
she is now 16,
but when she was 5 years old,
she came from her grandmother,
and there was a case,
she lay on the ground, hysterical,
kicking and beating her hands,
I don't want to, I come up to her,
I say, dear, you are no longer at home,
you are not with your grandmother.
She shook, shook,
oh yes, I forgot, and went on.
And this is a clear example
that a child just needs time
to adjust.
If there is no opportunity,
in the summer the child will go somewhere.
Well, there is no grandmother nearby,
or there is no grandmother at all,
and the camp is not very good,
and the child has to sit at home all day.
What should parents do in such cases?
If the child is a schoolchild,
then for some time you can send him
to a pre-school camp,
they are quite budgetary,
in some schools even free,
and the rest of the time
the child stays at home alone.
When the child stays at home alone,
it is important to bring him
basic safety rules,
plus make sure
that he clearly observes them,
that is, make sure
that he is able to withstand
the limits set by him.
According to the basic safety rules,
this is, firstly,
not to turn on the gas,
secondly, to teach him
to heat food, for example,
in a microwave,
or if the gas, for example,
the child is already a teenager,
then everything is ok here.
The third point is not to open the door
to strangers, no matter what they say.
And the fourth point,
in case of something,
immediately call the parents.
This is the basic thing
that a child should know.
Nadya, thank you very much for the information.
I wish you and all your subscribers
a good summer.
And, as in any other time of the year,
give the child the opportunity
to legally get rid of
accumulated tension, irritation
and anger.
To do this, you need to run, jump,
shout, play with sand, water,
in general, behave like a child in the summer.
