Everywhere in the world, ancient megalithic cities
challenge our idea of the history of mankind.
From Stonehenge, over the Pyramids of Giza,
to the Moai statues on Easter Island
and the Sun Pyramid in Teotihuacan,
these cities force us to think about
what our ancestors were capable of
and whether the facts in our history books
may not tell the whole story of our past.
In the middle of the endless vastness of the Pacific Ocean,
in Micronesia, lies a megalithic city
that is as inexplicable and mysterious
as no other on earth.
A city that has been a breeding ground
for legends and secrets for centuries.
And yet most people, despite their status,
have probably never heard the name Nan Madol
as one of the most mysterious and unique ancient cities in the world.
There may be a good reason for this.
The Micronesian island of Pompeii
is really in the middle of nowhere.
More than 8,000 kilometers of open ocean
lie before its coasts in the east until they reach California,
in the west another 4,000 kilometers of open ocean
until they reach Manila in the Philippines.
The island itself is small and largely insignificant,
only 20 kilometers of unspeakable terrain from end to end,
covered with dense jungle and mangrove swamps,
with a steep mountain that rises in the middle.
But despite its remote location and unspeakable terrain,
Pompeii houses the remnants of megalithic architecture
in an unparalleled extent in Micronesia.
In the shallow waters off the east coast
stands an inexplicable stone complex.
92 artificial islands,
which were built on a coral reef
over an area of 1.5 kilometers in length
and are all connected by a sophisticated network
of canals lined with stones.
These stone canals give the place its name,
Nan Madol, which means within the interval.
In recent times, Nan Madol has received another name,
the Venice of the Pacific.
It is not difficult to understand why.
Everywhere in the complex there are a number of incredible buildings
made of huge basalt stones,
walls that are up to 18 meters high and up to 5 meters thick,
pillars and buildings, all made of stones
that weigh between 5 and 50 tons
and are stacked on top of each other,
in a way as if you were building a blockhouse.
Amazingly, estimates have shown
that over 750 tons of stone were used for the construction of the city.
As David Childress, who carried out several investigations
in Nan Madol in the 1980s and 1990s, expressed,
the entire project is of such enormous size
that it can be compared in sheer quantities
with the construction of the Chinese Wall
and the Great Pyramid in Egypt,
in terms of the amount of stones and labor used
and the gigantic size of the construction site.
Simply put, Nan Madol is undoubtedly
one of the most amazing megalithic cities on earth
and actually the only one ever built on a coral reef.
But who could have built something like that?
In modern times, the stone megaliths in the city
indicate carbon dating
that the construction of Nan Madol began around 1180 AD,
which led to the conclusion that Nan Madol
was built by the Soudelur dynasty,
which at that time ruled the island of Pompeii.
According to this theory,
the city was abandoned shortly after the fall of the Soudelurs
at the end of the 16th century
and left behind the mysterious ruins,
which are still preserved today.
However, additional studies
that were carried out at the site indicate
that the earliest settlement there dates far beyond 1180 AD
to the 2nd century BC,
or perhaps even beyond that.
Perhaps the mystery of Nan Madol
goes many years beyond the Soudelur dynasty.
If Nan Madol was built by the Soudelur dynasty 1,000 years ago,
a simple question arises.
How did they do it?
First, there are no stone breaks in the immediate vicinity of the city,
which means that the huge basalt stones
from which Nan Madol consists
must have been transported from elsewhere.
But how?
The island of Pompeii is too fragmented to transport stones.
What does it mean that the builders of Nan Madol
would have to bring the stones from the island
or another small island
somewhere in the area across the ocean to the construction site?
Some first assume
that they could have done this with bamboo rafts,
a theory that was quickly rejected
when the sheer weight of the stones used in Nan Madol was taken into account.
In a post on the Discovery Channel about Nan Madol,
they tried to use bamboo rafts in 1995
to let stones weighing 1 to 2 tons float,
which was only a fraction of the size of the rafts used in the construction of the city.
However, it was found that the rafts sank quickly.
But let's say, according to the argument,
that the builders of Nan Madol succeeded
in bringing the huge basalt stones with rafts
or in another unknown way to the site.
This still does not explain how the stones of people
who did not even have flasks, levers
or other modern technical achievements
could be lifted and stacked in buildings and walls as well as canals.
Even today, lifting a stone weighing 50 tons
is a major undertaking
that requires a strong crane and an experienced team.
So how could a population of hundreds of years ago
have achieved this without such a crane or even basic levers?
But again, although the Saudeleurs
somehow transported the huge stones to Nan Madol
and were then able to lift and place them without wheels or levers,
this still leaves a gap in the explanation.
At the time of the Saudeleur dynasty,
the population of the entire island of Pompeii
was estimated at 20,000 to 30,000 people,
including children and elderly people.
This population simply does not correspond to the workforce
that is required to complete a project like Nan Madol.
The barren island could hardly compete with the everyday life of its inhabitants,
let alone a company like the construction of Nan Madol.
Some have estimated that the founding of Nan Madol,
in view of the population of Pompeii
and the number of people of working age on the island,
would have taken more than three centuries.
What this all means is simple.
Although scientists believe that Nan Madol was built about 800 years ago
by the Saudeleur dynasty,
they actually have no idea how it was built.
To answer this question, we have to look elsewhere.
According to the oral tradition of the Pompeians,
Nan Madol has a very specific origin.
It begins with the story of a group of seven men and nine women
who, somewhere in the distant past,
were looking for a new home.
On their journey, they met a kraken spirit,
which led them to an unknown island in the Pacific Ocean.
But it was a trick, and when they arrived,
the island was not larger than a canoe,
by far not large enough to settle on.
Fortunately, the travelers had magical powers
that enabled them to lift the rest of the island over water.
And there they settled, built a stone altar in the middle
and called the island Pompeii, which means on a stone altar.
Over the centuries, five more groups of settlers came to the island,
of whom every secret magical knowledge brought about
how to move mountains, build reefs and form the island,
thereby building a flourishing civilization over time.
Finally, a seventh group arrived,
which brought the most powerful magicians so far,
the brothers Olisipa and Olosopa.
It was these brothers who built Nan Madol,
in which they used their magical powers
to fly huge basalt stones through the air,
as if they were weightless,
and stacked them into little islands, canals, walls and buildings.
Their magic was so powerful that the brothers conquered Pompeii
and founded the Saudeleur dynasty.
In a way, this oral transmission of the history of the island of Pompeii
dates back to a time before history was written.
A story about conquest, the construction of a civilization
and dynastic rule, explained by a dramatic myth.
But take a closer look at the history
and especially at the ability of the brothers Olisipa and Olosopa
to let huge stones weighing up to 50 tons float through the air,
using some kind of magic.
Some assume that this was not magic
and that the story was not a myth at all,
but rather a folk memory of a lost technology.
But what kind of lost technology could have enabled an ancient people
to let huge stones float through the air?
If you've seen our channel before,
you probably already know the answer.
It is called acoustic levitation
and is described as a technique in which heavy stones are lifted
by adapting the sound frequency of matter,
making it weightless and moving it in place.
Look at the old megalithic cities all over the world,
which were built from huge stones
that would have been impossible to move for humans in the past,
let alone for the construction used,
from Stonehenge to the Great Pyramid of Giza
and many, many others.
According to some, the existence of these megalithic cities
indicates that people used to master the art of levitation
through sound or other obscure methods
that enabled them to resist gravity
and easily manipulate massive objects.
In addition, there is a kind of legend in almost every culture
in which megalithic structures exist,
which says that the huge stones were moved by acoustic means,
either by the sung spells of magicians,
by secret songs,
or by massive gongs, trumpets,
lyres or cymbals.
But could an acoustic levitation have been used in Nan Madol?
Could it be the secret behind an old people
that moved and stacked tons of heavy stones,
which in the local history
are described as two brothers with magical powers?
Maybe.
Or maybe there is another explanation for Nan Madol,
which is even more incredible.
For centuries, the tradition of Pompeii warns
against the terrible powers
that are associated with Nan Madol.
The locals believe
that the city is being cared for by ghosts,
which were placed by the people there in the past
to protect them from outsiders
and that anyone who disturbs the city is cursed.
Maybe this is just a myth,
which is staged by locals
to prevent colonial powers from damaging their history.
But what if not?
Outsiders from Europe first reached the island of Pompeii
at the beginning of the 19th century,
whereupon they immediately became aware of the ruins of Nan Madol,
one of the first to do so
was the surgeon of a merchant ship named Dr. Campbell,
who eloquently recorded the city in an article from 1836
with the title Island of Ascension.
In his words, Nan Madol was
the work of a species of people
that far exceeds the present generation,
whose memory has survived for many centuries
and whose history has been forgotten forever.
Their size and power can only now be recreated,
scattered remains of the structures they have erected,
which now with evergreen
hover over the ashes of their deceased fame
and leave the afterlife the pleasure of speculation and speculation.
This was all European knowledge about Nan Madol for decades.
Speculation and speculation.
Until the 1870s,
when a Polish anthropologist named Johan Kubari
arrived in Pompeii in the midst of a historic journey.
In 1869, Kubari had taken a position at a trading company
that sent him around the world to the Pacific islands.
There he visited the islands of Samoa, Palau, Ebon,
Chaluit and others,
collected unprecedented samples
and acquired a reputation as one of the largest collectors of the earth.
In 1873, he arrived on the island of Pompeii,
where he carried out the first systematic exploration
and description of the ruins of Nan Madol,
where he no longer looked from afar,
as the Europeans had done before him,
but as an anthropologist he dove into the cities
to discover their secrets.
Despite energetic warnings from the locals about Nan Madol's curse,
Kubari collected numerous ornaments and devices in the city
and even discovered unexplored crypts,
which he called royal tombs.
As he found out in his work,
all the tombs we explored were full of corals.
Everywhere we found remains of human bones
and very primitive jewellery,
bracelets and necklaces,
devices, stone axes and so on.
The cases of a Spondylos species,
which were drilled through the hinge
and used as breast jewellery,
were strongly represented.
They were buried in large numbers with the dead
and seem to be a special testimony
of the friendliness of the locals.
We also found round discs in the graves,
which are drilled in the middle
and are highly valued today.
They serve as money
and for the adornment of the trousers and the headband.
The presence of many lower jaws and forelegs in the same vault
points to family burials and their number.
Since particularly remarkable graves,
which contain bones,
are limited to 13,
we conclude that they were only graves
of kings or chiefs.
Until 1874, Kubari was ready
to return to Europe with his incredible collection
of artefacts that were buried in the city.
But on the way there was a catastrophe.
A merchant who accompanied Kubari's journey back to Europe
described how her ship tried to manoeuvre
near the Marshall Islands
through the narrow ocean passage at Jaluit.
Instead of steering the ship to the southern arm of the passage,
which leads to the anchorage,
Becker, the captain,
drove the stern to a reef tip,
which divides the main passage into the north-south arm.
He made the bad steering of the ship responsible for this,
and the others were responsible for his stupidity.
The ship was completely abandoned that evening,
and the crew moved to their quarters
or near Kapell Station.
The next day, the sea rised
and broke over the ship,
which was facing the sea with its deck.
Its hatches drifted off,
the load was washed out,
and then her deck blew over.
At 3.30 p.m. the main mast fell.
That morning, the deck was completely destroyed
and nothing was to be seen
except a heap of broken and twisted iron,
ropes and some broken spurs.
In this way, the ship was lost,
and hundreds of Kubari's crates,
which contained a large part of the history of Nan Madol,
sank to the bottom of the ocean
and were lost forever.
For Kubari, the shipwreck was devastating,
and it would only get worse for him.
In 1879, the trading company he worked for
went bankrupt and left him unemployed.
He decided to stay on a plantation
he had bought in Pompeii,
where he married a local woman
and had two children.
Tragically, both children died at an early age.
Then, in 1882, Kubari's plantation was destroyed
when a hurricane swept over the area.
The few remaining coconut palms
were quickly destroyed by a beetle plague
that followed the hurricane.
Since Kubari could not go anywhere else,
he slowly began to rebuild his plantation
and took on temporary jobs at trading companies or museums,
which he could always find around the Pacific Islands.
That was until 1895,
when the Pompeian people rebelled
against the Spanish rule over their island
and completely destroyed Kubari's plantation once and for all.
Hopeless and hopeless,
Kubari committed suicide in 1896.
Was this the curse of Nan Madol at work?
Did Kubari have this terrible misfortune
when he removed artifacts and bones from the city
in 1873 and 1874?
At the beginning of the 20th century,
Pompeii fell under German rule
and the position of the governor
was transferred to a man named Victor Berg,
a lowly and evil man
who had spent most of his adult life
on the Pacific Islands.
Although Berg was strongly warned by the locals,
he began his exploration of Nan Madol in 1907.
He discovered a sealed grave
that allegedly contained the remains of the old rulers of Pompeii.
Surprisingly, Berg found skeleton remains in the grave
that no one had ever seen before.
The bones were huge
and apparently belonged to a genus of giants
that were about three meters tall.
Was that even possible?
Berg wondered, and if so,
in the night of his discovery,
as Berg tried to sleep,
a wild storm rolled over the island
and hammered the area with lightning and torrential rain.
In the distance, Berg and others swore
that they had heard the echo of shells
echoing from the mountains of Pompeii,
while, even more bizarre,
strange glowing balls allegedly filled the sky
The next day, when the storm seemed to be over,
Berg was determined to continue his work on Nan Madol.
But as he was on his way to the construction site,
he suddenly stopped
and fell dead without warning where he was standing.
The locals immediately claimed
that Berg's fate had been sealed
the moment he had disturbed Nan Madol.
His death and the storm that had preceded him
were a proof of the supernatural powers
that guard the cities, they claimed.
A German doctor who was stationed on the island
had a different explanation
and was responsible for sunstroke and heat rash as a cause of death.
A strange diagnosis for an otherwise healthy man like Berg,
who had lived on the Pacific Islands for many years
and was used to warmth.
But how he died is perhaps not the most important question
that emerges from the history of Victor Berg.
Whether his death was due to a sunstroke
or a curse,
it remains the question of what Berg discovered before his death.
Skeletal remains that seem to belong to giants.
According to oral transmissions,
the brothers who built Nan Madol were magicians.
Could they also have been giants?
Could this explain how they could move such heavy stones?
One thing is certain.
This was not the last time that giants
were brought into contact with Nan Madol.
After the First World War,
control over the island of Pohnpei was in the hands of Japan.
Like those who ruled the island before them,
the Japanese also began to investigate Nan Madol.
What they allegedly found, however,
went far beyond anything before.
Many records about Japan's rule over Pohnpei
are fragmented and are largely missing,
as many Japanese records from the region
were lost during the outbreak of the Second World War.
However, some remaining sources point to the fact
that Japanese scientists discovered before the war
that the existing ruins of Nan Madol,
which were built on a coral reef,
were only part of the puzzle
that actually extended further into the ocean
and under the waves.
That it was actually an entirely sunken city.
The Japanese are said to have found huge platinum ores
on the seabed there.
Incredibly, when they broke open the ores
to bring them to the surface,
they allegedly found skeletal remains
of huge people who were three meters tall.
What is interesting about these finds,
as well as mountain finds before,
is that the idea that at some point in the distant past
a species of giants existed,
is not limited to Nan Madol.
In fact, it appears in all human traditions.
In the book Genesis, for example,
there is a report about a species of giants
that is deeply known in the past as the Nephilim.
They were found all over the world,
in the United States, Africa,
the Amazon rainforest, Asia and elsewhere,
discovered huge skeletons that apparently belonged to giants.
Is it possible that the existence of giants
could explain Nan Madol at some point in the distant past?
If it sounds impossible,
you should watch our video
that summarizes all the amazing evidence
that has been discovered in modern times
and which suggests that ancient giants were real
and coexisted with early humans.
Then you might want to take a look at our video
about the book Henoch,
which was once part of the Jewish and Christian canon
before it was censored
and tells a completely different story of humanity
than what we know today.
But maybe we need to go beyond the huge bones
that were allegedly found there
to find an answer to Nan Madol's mystery
and focus on the platinum sails
in which they were discovered.
The fact is that platinum sails are not the only thing
that was found off the coast of Nan Madol.
In 1939, a German explorer and author
named Herbert Rittlinger
had visited Nan Madol
when it was under Japanese control
in his book The Measles Ocean
about the finds discovered there.
According to Rittlinger,
the discoveries off the coast of Nan Madol
actually went far beyond platinum sails.
As he wrote,
under the ocean was a brilliant and magnificent center
that had been excavated.
The reports about the magnificent wealth
had led pearl divers and Chinese merchants
to investigate the seabed in secret.
And the divers had all emerged from the depths
with incredible stories.
They had been able to walk on well-preserved,
with shells and corals, roads on the ground.
At the bottom there were countless stone vaults,
at the remains there were carved stone tablets,
clearly recognizable houses.
What the pearl divers did not find,
Japanese divers discovered with modern equipment.
They confirmed with their finds
what the traditional legends of Pompeii reported,
the enormous wealth of precious metals,
pearls and silver bars.
In other words, Nan Madol was just a piece
of the ancient city,
which disappeared for a long time under the waves of the ocean.
Interestingly, this agrees with the Pompeian legend,
which speaks of another kingdom
under the ocean off the coast of Nan Madol.
In recent times, further evidence has emerged
to support this theory.
In the 1970s and 1980s,
archaeologists noticed an extensive network
of caves under Nan Madol,
which led deep into the sea.
A team followed this network
to a collection of stone pillars and structures
about 30 meters under water
and speculated that this was just the beginning
of a huge network of underwater ruins.
But since then, no comprehensive investigation has been carried out
to determine what could be under the ocean.
And if so, who built it?
And where does it come from?
Some believe they already know the answer.
On this channel, we have detailed reports
about the legendary lost continent Mu.
For the uninitiated, the idea was introduced
by an archaeologist named Augustus Le Plongeant
at the end of the 19th century.
He claimed to have seen transcriptions
of a series of ancient Mayan transcriptions
on the island of Yucatan,
which told of an old lost continent called Mu,
which had sunk under the ocean
sometime in the distant past.
The idea was picked up by a man named James Churchward
in the 1920s and 1930s,
who claimed to have been a soldier
in British India during his time
who told of an old lost continent
in the Pacific Ocean called Mu.
According to Churchward, the continent,
which stretched about 5,000 km from north to south
and about 8,000 km from east to west,
was the home of an advanced ancient civilization
that existed 50,000 years ago
before it suddenly sank to the bottom of the ocean
and disappeared forever.
Given the situation of Pompeii in the Pacific Ocean,
some believe that Nan Madol
represents the outskirts of the legendary
lost continent.
In fact, this was proposed by Churchward himself
in 1926, before ever
platinum mines or underground tunnels were discovered.
Could this really be possible?
Could another kingdom under the ocean
on the coast of Nan Madol
really be the remains of an advanced ancient civilization
from the past of tens of thousands of years?
Some say there is more evidence.
The island of Pompeii,
although it seems to be nowhere,
is actually in a remarkable place on earth.
Right in the middle of a 500 km long zone
in which typhoons occur
and the first stages of their strength and strength are developed here.
Today it is known that typhoons
not only postulate for how long,
due to the collision of cold air currents
on warm seawater,
but that they also have an electromagnetic component
and say that they must have been placed there
to break the electromagnetic properties of typhoons.
When they try to form themselves,
they are released in the form of raindrops
and for the protection of the area.
In other words, Nan Madol is not an ancient city,
but a kind of deliberately designed weather modification project.
This advanced technological ability
already goes beyond
what is possible today.
But some have gone even further
and have dealt more closely
with the history of Nan Madol.
Consider that the island of Pompeii
produces a constant, subtle seismic activity
that produces piezoelectricity.
Some believe that if this piezoelectricity
hits the huge magnetized basalt stones
that are laid out in canals, walls and towers
in Nan Madol,
the location becomes an energy source.
In a book on this topic,
the transformation of the natural vertical magnetic field
of the basalt into a spiral
would reinforce the power of any piezoelectric discharge
by swinging around in a narrowing,
narrowing circle
and then focusing the beam of its concentrated corona.
Simply put, Nan Madol was never a city,
certainly not in the usual sense of the word,
but a power plant
that was undoubtedly built by the ancestors of the Pompeians.
Unbelievable!
Doesn't the pioneering work of Nikola Tesla sound similar
to what he proposed for his legendary
Wadden Cliff Tower around the turn of the 20th century?
If you haven't heard anything about Tesla's work on this topic yet,
you have to watch our video
that examines Tesla's conviction
that the earth can be tapped for electricity
and how he imagined it.
The link is also in the upper right corner
and in the comment area.
Could the inhabitants of Pompeii have worked
with the energy source proposed by Tesla
thousands or tens of thousands of years ago?
Could Nan Madol really have been an ancient power plant
that supplied an advanced ancient civilization
with energy?
At least one thing is clear.
Even if Nan Madol is simply an 800-year-old megalith
that was built by the Saudi dynasty,
it is considered one of the most amazing buildings on earth.
But he could be so much more than that.
The key to the secrets of the past of mankind,
the mythical continent Mu
and an advanced ancient civilization.
