The 2023 Hakka Expo was held to raise awareness about the Hakka culture. By showcasing its arts, crafts, music, dance, language, and culinary traditions, the expo intends to bring the Hakka culture to the forefront. This event is a means to educate both the local and international audience about the Hakka people and their contributions to Taiwan's unique cultural tapestry.

主副展區位於高鐵桃園站暨機場捷運青埔站附近，從「食住行育文化」的概念，挖掘「客家精神潛力點」，將世界客家博覽會規劃為客家主展區、人文地景區、企業響應區及多元文化區四大區域，展館周邊用地設置服務站與民眾休憩、主題市集、地景裝置藝術及表演活動。
