Beautiful Lotus Flowers in Qingshui Wetland

Jinshan Qingshui Wetland is located in New Taipei City’s Jinshan District. It spans an area of approximatly 80 hectares. It is the largest wetland on the North Coast. The wetland is especially famous for beautiful peony lotus flowers in summer. It is open in summer, and is free of charge.
金山清水濕地牡丹蓮觀賞期為6月上旬至9月初，位於磺溪出海口與清水溪匯流處的河口農地，是目前北海岸最大的濕地，水質純淨，也是金山小白鶴、黑面琵鷺、丹頂鶴等候鳥遷徙路線的中繼站，每年在此活動的鳥類超過200種以上。
金山清水濕地主要栽種的蓮花是高挺的牡丹蓮，牡丹蓮的花朵碩大，花瓣層次多又密集，花開後花瓣就不會再閉合。
