Then the series became a million copies, and vocabulary became famous all at once. Until then, there were a lot of books about vocabulary in the English industry. Because vocabulary is very essential and useful information. That's why all the advanced learners used it. But none of them sold very well. That's why vocabulary didn't become very famous. That's because there's a reason why beginners and people who are not good at English can't recommend it. In this video, I'm going to talk about how to understand English words from vocabulary. I'm sorry to those of you who love English and want to make more use of vocabulary, but this video may not be helpful. Is that so? If you don't say no to this, people will look at the video with strange expectations and say it's not helpful at all. If you're undervalued or disliked, you'll both be unhappy. I'd like to make my position clear at first. I work as an English doctor. And what I do is solve English problems. English disease is caused by a lack of progress in English. Various misconceptions, habits, wrong learning methods, and so on. In short, I'm the kind of person who's going to stumble. Now I've learned to speak English to the full. I can now listen to native English normally. But I've already stumbled a lot before I got there. That's why I know how to solve the problem of stumbling. And I don't want any of you who are learning English to stumble. I'm trying so hard to learn English because of this English disease, but I'm not getting any better. There are a lot of people who get frustrated. I really want to help you with that. So I'm going to talk about vocabulary. As I said at the beginning, I'm definitely using advanced people. That's how I'm increasing my vocabulary. But I can't recommend this vocabulary at all to people who are not good at English, beginners, and beginners. The book I mentioned earlier, The Great Best Seller, is out. It's an illustration, so it looks easy to understand at first glance. But in the end, I think there are a lot of people who can't use this vocabulary well. As an expert in solving stumbling, I really feel that way. There are two reasons why beginners and people who are not good at English cannot recommend vocabulary. I'd like to tell you one by one. Yes, please. Let's start with the first reason. As a premise, people who teach me about vocabulary are people who can speak English. There are a lot of people who are good at it. This vocabulary is very convenient for increasing vocabulary. So everyone should use it. I've been teaching you about vocabulary in books for a long time. I saw a video of a famous YouTuber the other day. The English vocabulary is like a substance in kanji. So, for example, if you have sansui, it's easy to remember because it's related to water. That's what I'm talking about. I see. That sounds convenient. Do you really think so? Yes. I think there are quite a few people who can capture it in the atmosphere. There is also an atmosphere that makes it easy to understand that the vocabulary is represented by an illustration. I recommend that you don't be fooled by that kind of atmosphere. Is it just the atmosphere? If you look at it in kanji, it looks like this. Okay, now I'm going to learn the kanji with the bottom. The kanji with the bottom has the image of using hands. For example, hit pull push throw pick up pay technique hold throw take a tree take a picture manipulate kidnap See, it's all hands, right? It's easier to remember, right? Next, let's move on to sansui. This is related to water. Next, let's move on to ukanmuri. This represents a house covered by a roof. How is it? Do you think it's for beginners? No, I thought it was a little bullying. Right? I've seen a lot of books about vocabulary, but almost all of them are made like dictionaries. As I just said, it is summarized in the form of the words such as tehen, sansui, and ukanmuri. It's too hard for people who are not good at English. Oh, I don't want to see that kind of book. You think so, right? Even the bestseller books written in the illustrations haven't changed here. In the end, it's an easy-to-understand atmosphere by illustrating. But the basic structure is the same. It's like a dictionary. I call it a dictionary. Of course, I think there are many people who found this bestseller useful. But I think there were quite a few people who just felt like they understood it somehow. The reason is that vocabulary has many elements of solidification. Is that so? For example, if you give an example in kanji, let's look at the kanji for technique. When you break this down, you write that you support it at the bottom, right? If you are told that what you support is a technique, you use your hands, you feel that way, right? Yes, I feel that way. But if you support it with your hands, it doesn't matter if it means something else. Let's say this means patience. I can say the same thing. Because I support it with my hands, that's why it means patience. I can certainly say that. But it's not patience, it's like technique. I think there are various reasons, such as historical flow or inevitability. Well, that's the result. To understand it in a dictionary is easy to become a kind of solidification. It's a solidification, so it might be a little different if you say it's convincing in the real sense. I say that English is a subject of convincing, and on this channel, I talk about basic verbs and adjectives. Please grasp it sensuously. I'm talking about how to learn while being convinced like that. That kind of English-sensitive convincing is a little different from the original language. Certainly, I listen to Roy's story every time and I'm convinced every time, so it's a little different from the original. That's right. Of course, there may be some things that you can be convinced of in the original language. But for the most part, it's easy to become a kind of solidification. Well, I especially want people who teach English to know this. The original language is not for beginners. That's right. That's where the other reason I mentioned earlier becomes important. You have to learn English words. You have to increase your vocabulary. Think like that. There are a lot of people who think like that. Even if you say English words in the first place, it's better to think about it in two ways. That's the basic word and the adjective word. The basic word is a common word. It's a word that can be understood by children and used by children. It's such a simple word. I think it's close to junior high school English. And the adjective word is a more difficult word. In terms of image, it's more than high school English. Well, I've just briefly divided it up. The adjective word is useful. Is that so? In other words, when you try to learn a difficult word, the adjective word is useful for the first time. But is it necessary for beginners to learn such a difficult adjective word? I don't think so. Especially if you're not good at it. The first thing you need to learn is a basic word like junior high school English. For example, when you say chair or table, you don't need an adjective word. And I explain the basics in another video. What you need is not an adjective word, but a scary image. I see. I understand. Roy-san, I'm not good at English, but I have to increase my vocabulary because it's dangerous. What should high school students and people in education do? That's a good point. There is a way to use the adjective word well. I want to know that. The trick is to change the beginning of the word. The beginning of the word? If you try to learn the adjective word in the traditional way, the beginning of the word will be a dictionary. It's like drawing a dictionary. It's like making a dictionary. It's like that. It's not like that. You can use the beginning of the word for curiosity. For example, there is a term called promotion. Tony, do you know what it means? Do you mean to advertise? It's close. There are two meanings to this word. One is the promotion of sales. In other words, it means to promote. It's called sales promotion. And the other meaning is promotion. It means that the company's position goes up. It's not just a promotion, it's a promotion. For example, search for the adjective word promotion using Google. Then, for example, it may come out like this. Well, it's a little difficult, isn't it? No, this is difficult. You don't have to understand all of this. Just a little hint is enough. So, the pro of promotion represents the front. The motion is related to moving. For example, the motor is the same adjective word. It comes from the word move. So, the pro of promotion is...
