Do personality and career have anything to do with each other?
Yes, they do.
In the past, I used to think that I had to study hard to get good grades in college.
I had to choose a good job, a good school,
so that I could have a good job and become a successful person.
In fact, a person can be good at everything in class,
but they can't be good at everything in life.
And they still need to find a job that suits their personality, strengths and weaknesses.
For example, an IT employee can sit and work with a computer with complicated lines,
asking a lot of questions about 2D logic to create apps and websites.
Maybe they are a genius in that field,
but what if you make them a tour guide?
Highly likely they will become less confident in front of a crowd,
or even have a weak, passive, little talk,
lacking in delicate communication.
So what can I conclude?
This person is too poor.
Not true.
That job is not suitable for their personality.
Sometimes we just vaguely feel that we like to do a certain job,
but few people can clearly analyze how that job suits us.
Now I will clarify the relationship between personality and job.
Personality is a habit,
it is what you do, you think repeatedly,
then it will form your personality.
And the job is what you do every day,
so it needs to be related to personality.
Be more specific.
You probably know about introverts and extroverts.
Introverts are quiet,
and extroverts are open-minded,
and tend to get along with the crowd.
Although few say, introverts are very good listeners,
they can listen to everything carefully.
Quite a lot of introverts are sensitive and deep.
If you want to become a psychotherapist,
introverts will be more suitable than extroverts,
because introverts will pay close attention to listening,
problems, sharing, the eyes of the patient.
When people feel that they are listened to sincerely,
they will be more open, share more,
and the information will be better.
Those introverts who do not like to work with humans,
may like to work with machines.
These people will be very patient to find out the small details.
And extroverts will be very bored with such jobs,
too standard and so on.
Speaking of extroverts,
they are people who are able to excite the crowd,
not tired of having to communicate with many people.
So some jobs may suit them as MC,
show host, tour guide,
hotel restaurant worker.
These are jobs that have to deal with many strangers at the same time,
which is quite scary for introverts,
but normal for extroverts.
There are many jobs where introverts and extroverts
will have the same advantage,
because we will be closer to other personalities.
For example, I will talk about those who are emotional,
they are emotional rich people,
who live emotionally,
and opposite to them are those who are rational.
I am a rational person,
I decide everything based on logic.
On the contrary,
introverts and extroverts will make decisions
based on their own feelings and the feelings of those around them.
And of course, it is also closely related to work.
If you are interested in the feelings of those around you,
you will have an advantage in communicating,
in grasping other people's feelings.
You will be suitable for jobs in sales,
consulting, taking care of customers,
or working in a hotel restaurant.
Many emotions, many thoughts
can help you write songs that go into your heart.
If you have a talent for writing,
or an actor, writer, painter, designer.
And the weakness of these people
is that they will favor the things
that I have more affection for,
so they will not be suitable
for work related to the law, the court.
In addition, they are easily irritable,
easily lose their calm,
so they will not be suitable
for becoming an emergency doctor.

S게요,
Sở theory
interior design and other design related tasks.
Because they will work with drawings,
not too much with people.
This is a positive response.
Second, it is a job that requires meticulousness and detail,
which is their strength.
Emotions will help them be inspired
and serve the design.
In addition to designing,
I still have some other choices,
depending on each person's preferences.
Through some situations,
I have proven that
personality and career are closely related.
So the next question is
how to identify your personality type
to make a career choice?
Right now, I will introduce you to a personality test
that many of you may already know is MBTI.
If you already know about this test,
please watch until the end of the clip
to learn more and avoid making mistakes in this test.
MBTI is derived from the psychology and economics
and developed by two Americans.
MBTI is used by businesses in the US
to evaluate candidates.
This test is also popular in many countries,
so you can rest assured about its credibility.
MBTI divides us into 16 personality groups.
After completing the test,
you can know which personality group you belong to,
which strengths and weaknesses that group has,
and which professions are suitable for you.
You can access the MBTI.com test page
to do it for free.
I have learned about MBTI for 4 years.
It helps me understand myself
and even understand others.
The good thing about MBTI is that it will let you know
which personality group is better than which.
The strengths of the introvert will be the weaknesses of the extrovert,
and vice versa.
On the MBTI page, there are also business suggestions for you.
There are a few important notes when you take the test
to avoid making mistakes.
I used to make mistakes,
and many of you have also made mistakes
for two reasons.
First, most of the business tests are based on English
and are translated into Vietnamese.
In the translation, sometimes the way of using words is a bit difficult
to understand, which leads to not understanding,
or even misunderstanding the question,
which leads to choosing the wrong answer.
Second, it's because I don't understand myself.
Maybe you choose the answer you want,
you want to become that person,
but you don't understand your current nature.
In fact, very few people understand themselves
clearly, in detail, and specifically.
We only understand ourselves in a general way,
but that's enough.
My advice is to do it many times,
separate for a while,
and do both the first and second tests.
If you are good at English,
you can find the original version on foreign websites.
The last important note is that the MBTI is very correct,
but not enough.
That is, in addition to the strengths and weaknesses of the MBTI,
we also have other strengths.
For example, the ability to feel,
the ability to exercise,
or the skillfulness of the hands.
MBTI reflects correctly,
but does not reflect all the strengths you have.
The more you understand your strengths,
the more accurately you will choose your career
and the direction of your future career.
My advice is that you can try to find and do
different tests about yourself and your career,
with the criteria that the test has a clear origin
and high credibility.
I have also given a test for choosing a career.
You can refer to it in the description.
My test will have two main advantages after this.
The first is that it is compiled by me,
so the language will be very easy to understand
compared to the ones translated from abroad.
The second is that the results are specific and popular
in Vietnamese society at the moment.
If you are interested in this topic,
I will continue to release series
talking about strengths and weaknesses
to help you understand more about yourself.
