I would like to say hello to the teachers and friends who have come to my lecture.
My name is Nguyen Tuan Kiet, from the Department of Japanese Literature.
Today, I would like to give a lecture on Vietnamese cuisine culture and delicacies in the US.
Vietnamese cuisine culture has been formed naturally,
and daily activities and activities for Vietnamese people
are not only used in meals, but it also conveys tradition and cultural value.
No Vietnamese tourist can resist the appeal of traditional dishes in Vietnam.
And after this, we will learn about Northern cuisine culture.
Vietnamese cuisine culture has been naturally formed
from daily activities and activities for Vietnamese people,
and daily activities for Vietnamese people are not only used in meals,
but it also conveys tradition and cultural value.
No Vietnamese tourist can resist the appeal of traditional dishes in Vietnam.
This is one of the examples of Mongolia in the North.
For example, here we have Bun Cha, and here we have Xoi Xeo.
About the culture of Central Vietnam, with a long and narrow terrain,
the Central Vietnam is a fertile land with a lot of contamination, floods, and climate change.
Therefore, the people here need to cultivate more.
The food is also more profound and more flavorful, not too fancy or plain.
This is the only common feature that creates the flavor of Central Vietnam.
And these are the traditional dishes of Central Vietnam.
As we can see, Central Vietnamese pancake is a kind of pancake with a crispy crust with a lot of filling inside,
creating a variety of cultural combinations.
Central Vietnamese cuisine has a variety of characteristics.
Here we have Hue beef noodle soup, a dish that carries the essence of Hue history.
Combined with the natural sweet broth noodle soup,
the natural sweet broth noodle soup from Hue has a little bit of spiciness, creating the uniqueness of the dish.
About the culture of Southern Vietnam, if the Northern cuisine focuses on exquisiteness and exquisiteness,
and the Central Vietnamese cuisine focuses on richness and flavor,
then the culture of Southern Vietnamese cuisine carries a unique and unique essence.
The famous dishes in the South, as we know,
the bread is no longer a strange dish for the Vietnamese people.
With a loaf of bread with a lot of filling inside, creating the essence of Vietnamese cuisine.
Saigon broken rice is part of the Saigon culture.
It is a dish combined with broken rice and grilled meat,
served with pork skin and egg roll, creating a unique, unforgettable flavor.
About the culture of Western Vietnam,
Southern Vietnamese cuisine focuses on sweetness,
different from the Central Vietnamese cuisine and the Northern Vietnamese cuisine.
The people of the Southern Vietnamese region are very sweet.
Most of the dishes here have a sweet taste.
This is where the delicious, famous sweet soups such as
pomelo sweet soup, papaya sweet soup, and bean sweet soup were born.
And these are the signature dishes in the Southwest,
such as fish noodles, a specialty dish in the Southwest,
cooked from many different types of fish.
Chè bà ba has long been a familiar dish for the people of the Southwest,
and the people from afar come here to make a living.
This dish is called Hế because of its many colors,
just like the three-leaf clover of Southern girls.
Besides the cuisine of the regions of Vietnam,
there are dishes that have been honored by UNESCO
as one of the world's top dishes
and bring Vietnamese cuisine to the world,
such as Phở and Banh Mi.
Vietnamese cuisine has a unique culture
associated with the three northern, central, and southern regions.
Each region has its own dishes,
each region has its own unique dishes,
and is particularly influenced by residential areas
and natural conditions.
From there, the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine is created,
and it is this diversity that makes Vietnamese cuisine
so rich and has a very long-standing culture.
Thank you, teachers and students, for listening to my lecture.
