Arsenal sign David Raya on season-long loan

We're going to start though with big breaking news this hour. Arsenal have completed the signing of Brentford's Spanish goalkeeper David Raya. Raya will join Nikola Teta's squads on a season-long loan deal for an initial £3 million. And Arsenal will have the option to make the deal permanent for an additional £27 million. However, this option could become an obligation should Raya meet a certain number of conditions Raya has been brought in to provide competition for current number one Aram Ramsdale as Nikola Teta looks to increase the quality and depth of his squads. Raya kept two less clean sheets than Ramsdale for Brentford last year but he outperformed his new teammates with a save percentage of 77%. That's compared to Ramsdale's 69%.
