Hi everyone and welcome back to John Florio’s channel, i’m Mary and i’m here to talk about John Florio!
In my last video i talked about Love’s Labour’s Lost and discussed Florio’s collaboration with Shakespeare, which is something that Shakespeare’s scholars are reluctant to discuss.
When i posted the love labour’s lost video, some people have answered me: "yeah but you know, it was actually Florio who wrote the play, there was no collaboration" and talking about collaboration we obviously enter the authorship question, and regarding John Florio i know that there are some theories going around, and today i will discuss this topic. Who was Shakespeare? did he really write the plays attributed to him?
