Michelangelo Buonarroti, one of the greatest influencers at that time, made the seemingly impossible come true. But how can they do it? What is the secret of that era when the world seems to experience a paradigm shift: the renaissance era.

Leonardo da Vinci (April 15, 1452 -  May 2, 1519) was an Italian painter, draftsman, sculptor, architect, and engineer,  whose tallent epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal more than any other figure. His Last Supper (1495-98) and Mona Lisa (c. 1503-19) are two of the most well-known and influential Renaissance paintings. His notebooks reveal a scientific curiosity and mechanical ingenuity that were centuries ahead of their time. 
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni (6 March 1475 – 18 February 1564), known as Michelangelo, was a painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer. He and Leonardo da Vinci are both referred to as "Renaissance Men," which signifies their exceptional talent in a variety of fields. One of his masterpiece, "David" marble sculpture was an icon of the entire age, and is probably the most famous statue in art history. 
For more than a thousand years, skills that realistically depict the world in three dimensions above a flat canvas have been lost. The Renaissance rediscovered perspective. That represents a huge advancement for architecture, which draws its inspiration from the massive, symmetrical structures of antiquity.
The Renaissance revived the art oflarge-doom architect, which had been lost throughout the Middle Ages.

The elites, scholars, and clerics exchange ideas and create innovative new things. But what drives this extraordinary historical period? What are the ingredients in this explosive development? How could a man like Michelangelo suddenly get back that knowledge and technique that has been lost for centuries?
