Hidden Gems of the Central Coast! Oxnard's Heritage Square was an amazing find. @VisitOxnardCalifornia Brittney Hendricks explains how the
city and private citizens had the foresight to create an entire block area to preserve their history and farm heritage. Thanks so some of Oxnard's orginal familes, private investors and the City of Oxnard the square block includes eleven homes, a church, a water tower and a pump houses all moved and restored to their original condition. In a perfect and successful re-purposing project the buildings now house 25 businesses, a restaurant, wine tasting and a visitor center. Heritage Square has also become a popular wedding venue with complete catering on-site!

Brittney also shows me one of her favorite haunts the 1901 Speakeasy in the basement of one of the historic homes. Password? Visit Oxnard!
