Wow, wow, wow. Wednesday up then. Back in the second tier after two seasons away and Windass,
like his dad, has written his name in the history books. These are the men who brought this club
alive again. They challenged and they won. Standing on the royal balcony, Sheffield Wednesday,
Probably the worst standard of game you'll ever watch. Standing from both teams was shocking,
to be honest. No real quality on Sean. Luckily we got the winning goal.
They say great goals run in the family. Your father scored one here for Hull City against
Bristol. He's just over there. How emotional is that? Yeah, he scored a better goal. But no,
I wasn't thinking about that, to be honest. We worked all week and me playing off the front
and trying to get to the edge of the box for cutbacks. And luckily last minute came off.
What was going through your minds today? Because the longer the clock was ticking down,
nothing seemed to be going your way. Where did the belief come from?
To be fair, I heard their manager left our game against Peterborough because
he said we were out. So unlucky. What does this mean when you look round and see this
army of blue and white for this club that's been fighting so long? Yeah, it's unbelievable. It's
one of the best fan bases in the country. And I've played for a couple of big clubs,
but look at it. It's unbelievable. I know you can't get to dad at the moment,
but what do you think he's going to say about that? I don't know. It'll probably be five
Jager bombs deep. So I don't know if he'll say much. It's just to start the show on Wednesday,
Josh. Yeah, as you said, we've been good on the pitch this year. I think the club's got a lot of
work to do in terms of catching up with the other clubs off the pitch. Hopefully we can do that and
start being the giant club that we are.
