So, for you guys that don't know, this is where Hendrick came when he was out here inside Ghana.
So yeah, we inside the hood, this is like the hood hood over here.
From Jersey, don't smoke weed, it's illegal, but you're paid for it.
Good energy, good vibration.
Fresh breeze, fresh air, like no toxic and all that, you get that?
Yeah, that's right.
No pollution and all that.
I've never been on the continent of Africa before.
This is old.
And as I got here in Ghana, I felt how hot it was.
And I saw these beautiful trees and sand and wondered, what is beach culture here like in Ghana?
When people first think of Africa, the first thing they think about is droughts, maybe the desert in Senegal.
I'm located in Accra right now, and I'm actually getting like a tropical vibe from being out here.
And I personally heard the beach culture is pretty big out here.
So, I'm about to go on a little journey and just experience this for myself.
So, we back on the journey right quick.
Yo, bro, introduce yourself to the people.
Hi, I'm Fabry.
I can't remember that.
I'm going to Luxury now.
Yeah, but I want to take a stroll before I get to Luxury.
So, I might get a taxi soon.
From the taxi, we'll hop in and get to Luxury Beach.
So, this is the complete attraction that I wanted to show you.
Definitely.
So, we're going to Luxury Beach.
So, let me ask you a couple of questions.
Do you know why Luxury Beach is great?
I have no idea about the year, but I know it's been popular for a couple of years now.
A couple of years?
Yeah.
And you would say how many years it was popular for?
I don't know.
You know, I was in school and all that.
So, I came back home like 2019 after my service and everything.
So, since then, I'm catching a vibe.
When you get there, you get to know why people like you want to come and have a vibe over there all the time.
Realize how tropical this place could be.
Luxury is the first beach we pulled up to.
My guy, Beverly, said this has more of a local feeling towards it.
If that's the type of style you want to catch.
Music jumping.
People vibing.
We even met someone over here.
We've inspired myself that day.
So, me and my guy right here, Kwame.
He was telling me...
Because I just came here like a week ago.
He was telling me Accra is a place to come to actually do something.
Whether it be arts, whether it's to network, whether it's to do music.
This is the place to be, the capital.
So, what is your goal inside of Accra?
My skates.
And I have this brand.
It's called Tension Project.
And I have this idea.
I'm currently working on these skates.
The whole idea is to get these skates to a certain extent of having lots of obstacles to skate.
Everything they need to support their skateboarding.
Because these skates have mad potential.
That's true.
I'm going to actually put his link of his Instagram down below in the description.
I got you, bro.
Get some recognition.
What you're doing is good with the kids.
Thank you, bro. I appreciate it so much.
Alright, so we're in a new day.
To bring you in quickly.
We're about to go to one of the biggest beach events.
This event right here.
They said it's for the youth.
Culture.
Why not record this?
Because this is North Midian.
We're all about the youth.
Trying to connect the diaspora.
Interacting people together.
So, I feel like this will be the perfect opportunity to display what these Ghanaians are really about.
So, hopefully we get some good vibes out there.
Good energy.
And just have fun.
That's what it's all about at the end of the day.
I want to ask you a quick question real quick.
Yeah.
What do you think beach culture is like here in South Ghana?
Okay, so yeah.
We arrived just yesterday.
I think the beach is crazy right here.
I love it.
It's really like I'm in a paradise, you know?
Yeah.
We're from Germany and the water is always very cold there.
And we went here and it was so amazing to have like really warm.
You're not freezing at all.
So, besides this festival, what activities did you guys partake in so far?
So, last weekend we were in Accra.
Mainly partying.
And we also do like a lot of trips on the weekend.
Nice meeting you, bro.
Appreciate that.
Who you are, bro?
I'm Brian.
I'm a fashion writer.
When did you know like fashion was your thing?
At what age?
Fourteen.
That's pretty young, bro.
What's your inspiration before writing like a story or a project?
What do you do?
Like talk to the people.
So, like I'm very particular about the stories that I write about.
You can't mix them.
Impact over clouds, basically.
I think a lot of cultures wait.
It's everything I expected plus on top of that.
And I'm saying it's pretty different too because
you don't really do things like this inside New York.
You keep it up.
It is what it is.
But yeah, we appreciate this right now.
Good vibes.
Good energy.
Good time.
That's all I got to say.
Our village was next up in line.
Burberry's guy, Dominic, was there to accompany us.
Yeah, so we're just heading to our village right now.
Beautiful Saturday.
Weather nice.
Tell people what you got on right now.
Because Americans, you know, you love fashion.
That's Von Dash.
Okay, Von Dash.
Your jean jacket design is dope, bro.
Fire.
I did it myself.
You did it yourself?
So, for you guys that don't know, this is where
Kendrick came when he was out here in Saigon.
This is one of the spots he pulled up to.
Straight in Jamestown.
I heard that.
Give me a couple of little vibes real quick.
Let y'all see the place.
So, yeah.
We inside the hood.
This is like the hood hood over here.
So, I'm going to show you guys around real quick.
Only at North Media I get this kind of thing.
Remember that.
So, this is where people usually get their fish at.
And he started to like the locals.
You guys can see through the water.
It's very rough.
The water right there.
It's very rough over here, y'all.
But it's very beautiful.
How did you find about this area?
Because this is a dope spot.
During my service.
During my national service, yeah.
One of my guys put me on.
Like, yo, let me take you to this spot.
We came here.
Wow.
It's so different.
People don't usually come here.
There's not much crowd in here.
Look at the view.
It's beautiful.
It's beautiful around here.
What do you think the energy is like around here?
Do you think it's more of a calmer vibe?
Because I know when we were walking through Continental.
Everything was rushing.
Everything was busy.
People were just moving.
They were hustling.
They have a lot of energy.
Exactly.
Fresh air coming up.
Good energy.
Good vibration.
The human body needs stuff like this to heal.
Why do you say that, bro?
Because it's like...
We're breathing there.
And it's like...
Fresh breeze.
Fresh air.
Like, no toxic and all that.
No pollution and all that.
We can't always just be moving, moving, moving.
We got to stop and have time to think and meditate.
Get our inner self, our spiritual self together.
You know what I'm saying?
That's real.
The James Down picture, man.
Okay.
Yo, I think they leave it around.
We got no fish in the packet.
Yeah.
Fish.
Chill around with the family.
Hang around with the family.
The landscape in Woodaway is different to the point I've never seen nothing like that in person.
It was an eye-opener.
Bojo is a vibe on its own.
Being that it's a private beach, we had to take a canoe to actually get there
before we could experience the beach side.
Beverly was telling me this is more of a foreign vibe if that's what you're looking to catch.
It's a more laid-back, reserved type of spot.
It made me think of the direction I was heading to.
It gives you a sense of clarity.
We live in an ever-increasing plugged-in world.
To free up your mind is priceless.
We shouldn't put it at the cost of anything.
Sometimes, it's good to experience things on your own
and not go by other people's words or perspective.
After all, this is why we're here to live.
In all, beach culture in Gartner is amazing.
It's one thing to watch it, it's another to see it.
What type of vodka is given here?
Beverly.
It's like the Swish Out Beach, man.
Yeah.
That's right, man.
