Lawmakers Highlight Fentanyl Awareness Day; Feinstein Returning to Senate | California Today - May 9

Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day; also law enforcement officials today announced a dozen new federal cases targeting fentanyl dealers, one of the cases charges an alleged dealer who distributed fentanyl to teenage girls; and we have an update on the Hollywood writer's strike and the Oakland teacher's strike.

Family members of the two fallen police officers are now suing the LA District Attorney George Gascon for mishandling the convicted felon who shot and killed the officers on duty a year ago; Hollywood actor Scott Baio is the latest celebrity saying goodbye to the Golden State; and cheer up with a unique dancing team for the Golden State Warriors, the 55+ cheerleading group is made of all members in their golden years.
