BUYING A CAR! | Hello Vlogtober

Welcome back to another vlog. So today I'm doing something very, very exciting. I'm actually going car shopping. I was going to put this off for a couple more weeks, but I had some real travel issues today and I was talking to my mum and we were just like, we need to go and do this now. It's been like on my list to do all year. I was kind of putting it off and planning on doing it in December, but we're just gonna have to do it today. So I'm very, very excited and I get to spend some time with my mum, which I'm really happy about because I see her like once every two weeks normally. It's never enough. Yeah, it's not gonna be a super fancy car that I'm buying. Well, it's fancy for me, like it's my dream car. I've wanted one since I passed my test when I was 19, but I just had a 4KA when I passed, just so it was just like a family car that I could literally just use and bump around because I used to bump it into the telegraph pole outside my mum and dad's house all the time. So yeah, I'm finally getting like a grownup car, even though it's not really a grownup car. So hopefully I'm gonna go test drive one. Like we're not even doing like shopping for different brands. I've just picked what I wanted and we're just gonna go see if they have it, maybe get a test drive, see like just lots of little things about it. So I know it's super dark in my hallway, but I thought I'd just quickly show you what I'm wearing today because I get so many questions and sometimes I don't have time to do the info box immediately on these vlogs. But my jumper is from Zara. This is a new one. I'm gonna show you a little Zara haul at some point. I'm not sure when. My vlogs are a bit all over the place at the moment because I had a last minute brand video that's gone up, which I really wanted to work on. So the vlogs have kind of been mixed around and I'm not sure when my next one's going up. Anyway, Zara jumper. This has like little pearl bobbles on it. It's so, so cute. I've wanted something like this for a really long time. I used to have something like it when I was like 15 and I loved it. So when I saw this, I saw it in cardigan version first and I was like, oh, I'm gonna buy that. Then saw they did it in jumper version. I was like, perfect. Celine sunglasses, Monika Vinader necklace, which has the little S on it. I don't know if you can, there we go. Monika Vinader bracelet. My Mejuri ring, which I love. This is one of my favourites. I couldn't find my rose gold one this morning. Not sure where it is. So that's kind of what I'm wearing top half, bottom half is my Topshop jeans. I've got a huge box down here, so I can't really show you what's on my bottom half, but I'm wearing these jeans and then my Nike trainers. What an outfit of the day pose. at the mini showroom. There's no minis around me right now. This one's really cute. Me and my friend Freddie could end up with the same car at this rate. I love this one. This is so cute. So cute! This feels terrifying. You ready, mom? I'm back at my mom's now, and I'm about to make tea and embrace the time-old tradition of raiding her fridge because I'm just one of those people that forgets to eat all the time. This is me and my brother. Just, there's one Christmas where now we basically took loads of Christmas-themed photos and put them in frames and sent my mom all the photos, and she loves them. There's also Josh over there in his graduation gown. And Kat, bless. And there's me, age 11. Oh my God, this is hilarious, you guys. Look how brown I was. That is insane. And I was wearing a T-shirt that says, you are the weakest link, goodbye, because Anne Robinson is just my hero. Whilst I'm making some food, I thought I'd address the, why am I never in focus with this camera? What's the point in buying a new camera when you're never in focus? So, I'm just gonna pop you up somewhere. Whilst I am making some food, I thought I'd address the elephant in the room of, I bought a car. So excited, and it's so overdue, because when you're 25 and your mom has to take stuff to the tip for you because you don't have a tip near you and you can't physically get all of your stuff to the tip, and just stupid things like that, where you can't go and see your friends because Southern Braille is striking again. I'm 25 years old, and I sold my car when I moved out so that I could buy things like washing machines and sofas and stuff like that. And I don't have to do that anymore. So, it's really stupid. And I got a new car, and I'm so excited because it's not the little piece of tin I used to have as a 19-year-old. It's a really nice car, and I'm so excited. So, I'm picking that up on Saturday. So excited, I love it, I love it so much. So, I'm not sure if I'm gonna post what it looks like, because I feel like that's a bit stupid. But I'm pretty sure you can guess what kind of car it is. And I'm really, really happy, I'm so happy. I missed driving. It's been a couple of years now, since I moved out, and I really missed it, I really, really missed it. So, I feel like I'm getting a little bit of my independence back as well now. I don't have to have people give me lifts to places all the time. Ooh, there's avocados. Mom, can I eat some avocados? They're not ripe, okay, thank you. I bet they are ripe. Post love. I had the world's most unhealthy lunch. Anyway, so basically I have a conference call at half five. So I'm just at my mom's waiting for the traffic to get a bit better before she drives me home because there's no point, like we're just gonna sit in traffic for like half an hour to get me home at the moment. So I thought I'd have something to eat, do my conference call from my mom's house. It'll be fun, so I don't have a laptop in front of me, so I'm gonna have to have everything on speaker and look at my phone, but it's fine because I know what I'm doing. And then I'm gonna go home and need to sort out insurance for my new car. And then I'm gonna spend the evening with Josh and it's gonna be really nice. I can't believe that it is like, it feels like it's for Friday. I'm really confused in my head, but it's a Thursday. I forgot to put sugar in there. to record your name. Suzie. So welcome back, today is Saturday. We are in my new car. I picked up my car this morning, I didn't vlog it because my alarm didn't go off this morning and I had like a time that I had to pick this up and it was just a little bit stressful. So yeah, I didn't vlog actually getting my car, which is fine because not much to see. I signed some paperwork and I paid for it, so yeah. So today I am doing lots of car related things. The first thing is really boring, I need to get a parking permit for my flat where I live now and then I'm gonna go and do some practice driving because I can drive this and I drove it back from the dealership and everything is fine. But I just wanna practice a little bit more on some not crazy busy roads. So yeah, that's kind of what I'm doing this morning, practice driving, which is gonna be so fun. I also need to try and get like a little thing for my vlogging camera because I wanna have like, just be able to set my vlogging camera up on my windscreen and have it like secure. And at the moment do that, so I can't really vlog whilst driving. And I think Josh and I are gonna get something to eat at some point, I'm kind of hungry and he's gonna come meet me and bring Nala. This car is literally so cool, like my old car was so like, it was from the stone ages. So this is like amazing, I'm so happy. I'm also loving my new key ring, this is the best. I'm so happy, it's got a pom pom and a little mini thing. This is like my dream, this is teenage Tuesday, would be so happy right now. Okay, so I have a parking permit. We are doing this, we are going to drive home. I need to move my seat forward, so small, so, so small. I'm going to drive home, I will see you in a little bit. the car and now I'm never leaving it. Parking is stressful. Okay, so I'm going to need to move. Parking around here is not my fave. Hello. Good spot. Don't say hi to the vlog. This is what I love most about my new car. Do do do do do. And the key ring, the key ring is so cool. So today is Sunday, I've just been and had my nails done at Powder Beauty which is like my favourite place to get my nails done, you guys have been asking me so much all about it there's a video coming soon and I slept really badly last night, it's afternoon and I still haven't had breakfast so, Seagulls are loud so I'm actually gonna go pick up some breakfast now you So I'm just on my way home now. Having something to eat made me feel so much better. I was actually not very well yesterday, which is why I suddenly stopped vlogging. And yeah, I just feel a bit crappy, but not as crappy as I did before I ate, so yeah, I'm feeling much better. So I'm just heading home now, and I think we're actually cooking a roast dinner tonight, which is very exciting, because Josh and I have never cooked a roast dinner before. you So it is Monday. I feel like this vlog has been the choppiest vlog in the world And I've already actually recorded this bit once but I was so stressed out this morning that I was like no one needs to hear my moaning and so I just thought I Would come along and kind of explain what happened and why it was so choppy at the weekend and basically Saturday I had a really bad migraine in the afternoon. It felt better ate dinner and Then it was really not very well overnight. So I woke up super late on Sunday So there's not really much vlogging going on on Sunday and have my nails done I went and got some breakfast that like it was like 2 in the afternoon by the time I had breakfast and Then Josh and I went and visited his parents for a bit Which is where you see Nala shuffling around in the rug. It was literally the cutest thing and yeah We made dinner and just kind of tidied the flat attempted to tidy the flat It was still a state this morning. So yeah, that was pretty much my weekend. It was a bit annoying I didn't it wasn't kind of like the fun weekend I envisioned because I wasn't feeling very well a bit gutted but it's fine because I will make up for it this week We have a fresh week. It's super busy and there's not too much like stuff that I can vlog But I'm gonna try my best to vlog where I can for you guys Yeah, it's just a bit hectic. So bear with me. We're in the last week of the month and Yeah, it's been a bit stressful but I'm kind of like we can do this we can do this so I think I'm gonna be vlogging again tomorrow Which you won't see until later in the week, but I've got like meetings and stuff Yeah, it's gonna be a bit of a busy one but I will vlog where I can I really hope you guys have enjoyed this vlog It's a bit of a different vlog for me. Like I don't normally I don't normally buy cars Blog buying them and I wasn't really sure whether to show the car So, I'm sorry if you came here expecting for like a car tour. So yeah, I'm really excited. I'm really glad I got to share this with you guys because I was planning on not necessarily doing this and vlogging it but because it's October That's what we're doing.
