Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel.
So today I have a Topshop haul
and this is a super exciting Topshop haul
because this one is actually in collaboration with Topshop.
I am finally living the dream.
It is a Christmas miracle.
I am so happy and I hope you guys enjoy this video.
So today I'm showing you a few things
that I have picked out off the Topshop website.
So I picked four dresses from their dress section.
They have so many different dresses on their dress section.
So they're basically the perfect place to go
if you have any kinds of occasion,
whether it's a Christmas day dress, a New Year's dress,
any kind of Christmas party dress,
whether you wanna go casual or super dressy,
they have a little bit of everything.
So they're basically the go-to place for festive dresses
and for me for dresses in general,
but especially around the festive time,
I always have a couple of new dresses from Topshop
in my wardrobe for Christmas parties and things like that.
So I'm going to be unboxing it, trying it on,
and then showing you how I would style it as well.
And I really hope you like this format of hauls.
If you do, I will continue in this kind of way,
but yeah, let's get into it.
So this first dress is a cutout velvet shift dress,
I wanna say, and it is so, so beautiful.
It has a really gorgeous high neck
and lovely kind of flower cutout details.
Actually, it's got a lot of different cutout details.
It's got some circles, some diamonds.
It's really, really pretty.
I love the fact that it's velvet.
I think it makes this dress a little bit different
from lots of the normal cutout fabrics
that are out there at the moment that aren't very, very soft.
And the reason I like this so much
is because it's really lovely on its own,
but you can also make it a little bit more casual
if you're not too into dressing up
and wear this with like a white shirt underneath.
So depending on your height,
this could actually be worn with knee-high boots.
And I think that and the white shirt underneath
would look so gorgeous.
And it's really nice for the winter
when it's very, very cold
because that will kind of keep your legs warm
if you want to go bare with bare legs.
And it would look really lovely
with just like a black coat thrown over the top as well,
or you could go leather jacket.
I think the majority of dresses I picked
would look lovely with a tailored coat,
but I think just on its own
for when you are kind of indoors
and not needing to wear a coat with the white shirt
and maybe knee-high boots, if not ankle boots.
And then the next dress,
I have been wanting this one for such a long time.
So this is a lacy skater dress
that actually has stars on the lace
instead of the usual floral pattern.
And I just think that this is so festive.
It's a gorgeous, like teally, foresty, emerald green.
Those are a lot of different greens
all merged into one.
I'm not really sure which one it is.
Just absolutely love it.
I think it will work really nicely with my hair colour
now that it's lighter.
And it's got a gorgeous lacy neckline,
which is just so interesting.
And it's just so, so pretty.
So you have the really sheer lace at the top
and then you have a more structured part in the middle.
It's still very, very light.
And then you have a really cute little black velvety belt
around the waist, which again has this almost fringed lacing
and then it just goes into a skater skirt.
And I think I actually got this,
I didn't get this in petite,
I got this in the normal size,
but they do this in petite and tall as well,
which is amazing.
And I really love this one.
It's a very romantic take on a simple skater dress
and I think it is so pretty.
It's the perfect Christmas dress.
Like I can see myself wearing this on Christmas day.
And I think this dress would look amazing
with a suede black jacket.
I think that would look gorgeous.
And then with some maybe suede ankle boots as well
that are like super embellished.
I think that would look so cool.
Again, this one would also look amazing
with knee high boots.
I think it's just a really versatile dress
and you can style it in lots and lots of different ways.
But I think with a black suede jacket
and little really embellished ankle boots
would be my favourite.
And I think this would look really cute as well
with like a little black bag,
with like some gold harbour or something like that.
I just think that this would look so sweet
with just little accessories,
nothing too over the top
because I think the lace itself
is like the main attraction on this dress.
So this next dress just screams Christmas to me.
It is incredible.
It's this gorgeous embellished dress
that has lots of gold and pearly iridescent
beads sewn onto it.
It's got little bits of blue and burgundy colours as well.
There's just so many intricate, tiny little beads on this.
It is incredible.
It has flowers made up of all the beads and sequins
but also birds as well.
It is just, I don't know if you can see that bird there.
It's just an amazing dress
and it's so statement and so festive
and I couldn't not feature it in this video
because it's just absolutely stunning.
It's sleeveless and it has quite a plunge neckline
which I think some people will either love or hate.
And this is just basically a kind of normal,
shifty style dress, I'd say.
It's not overly skatery on the bottom half.
It just kind of falls in kind of an A-line shape.
And I think that's quite flattering
on a lot of different figures.
But for me, I would pair this
with my Topshop green suede jacket
which just is the perfect jacket for this.
I think the colour of it works really, really nicely
with the colours of the dress.
It doesn't match.
It's not really coordinating
but it just works so beautifully.
And because there is so much going on
in so many different colours
and different textures on the top half,
I would just keep my shoes simple
with a really gorgeous pair of platform heels.
And in terms of bags,
as long as the bag doesn't have like heavy embellishment,
you could wear a lot of different bags with this.
So you could go for studded bags,
you could go for coloured bags.
I kind of feel like my Topshop velvet studded bag
could go really well with this.
And in terms of jewellery for this one,
I would keep things very, very simple.
I would maybe wear some hoop earrings on the top
or just a nice dainty pair of earrings
that aren't really too glitzy.
You don't wanna go for anything big and chunky
because I think that would clash
with the dress a little bit.
No necklaces or anything
and maybe minimal like dainty rings
would look perfect with this.
So the final dress is this gorgeous nude lace dress
and it's in basically a bodycon style.
It's not super, super bodycon.
It goes a bit A-line at the bottom.
I just think that this is a gorgeous take
on that style of dress
because the lace on this is just so big and so gorgeous.
And I feel like if you're not really into burgundies
and greens and Christmassy colours
and you love your neutrals,
this is a really nice way to wear something
that's a little bit more detailed.
And it's not something
that you would necessarily wear every day,
but I think for Christmas and New Year,
dresses that have quite big detailed lace
or that are quite embellished
are always a really, really lovely one to wear
because they just work for this time of year.
And I feel like this is definitely one
for the neutral lovers
who don't necessarily want to go for a very simple dress.
It's neutral in its colour,
but the actual dress is anything but simple
and I think the detail of this is gorgeous.
And because of the colour of this,
I feel like you could really play up accessories.
So you could wear maybe a rose gold and silver choker
or just silver chokers.
You could go for gold with this as well.
I think this is the perfect dress
for mixing lots of different textures
and metals of jewellery,
but you can wear any that you want with it
because again, it's that perfect neutral colour.
So with this, I would wear a really nice big pair of earrings,
some nice detailed rings,
and maybe a little choker as well,
like a very dainty little choker.
I feel like you can get away
with a bit more with this dress.
I think in terms of a coat,
it would be good to keep things simple
and go for like a plain black coat
or a camel coat, something like that.
I think this would look gorgeous with a camel coat.
And then for boots,
I actually picked up this pair from Topshop.
So these are current season
and I think these would work really beautifully
with this dress because they're simple,
they are neutral as well,
but they're not your simple standard scrappy shoe.
I think the dress itself is super elegant and very feminine.
And I think these boots are as well,
but because they are boots and they're ankle boots,
they also add a bit more of an androgynous touch.
And they're sock boots as well.
So they're not going to be too chunky on your legs.
So if you are shorter like me,
this will really elongate your legs.
And if you have longer legs,
this is just going to make your legs
look even more incredible.
And they're definitely not the norm
for what would normally be worn with this dress,
but I think that they work perfectly.
And to finish off the styling of this dress,
I would go with a very lovely neutral
kind of nudie color bag.
But I think seeing as the dress is so detailed,
I think keeping all of your accessories
a bit more neutral in tone is super important.
So that is it for my haul today, guys.
I really hope you guys liked it
and you enjoyed the slightly different format of this.
I'd love your feedback on whether you would like more
how to style kind of sections in the comments below.
I hope you're all having a really great day
and you're all enjoying Vlogmas so far.
And yeah, thank you so much for watching
and I will see you guys in a couple of days.
Bye.
