WEEKLY VLOG: This wasn't what we planned + sorting my life out!!! | Suzie Bonaldi

Good morning! How are we all doing? I actually had a really good sleep last night, it was so nice. I feel like so still sleepy but like in a nice way. I'm just waiting for Miss Delilah to go down for her nap. It's been nearly 25 minutes and it's just, she's struggling. I fear we're itching closer to the one nap a day. We're not there but like you can, the signs are there, you know, you can just see she's not going down as easily as she used to, she's not as tired but like we're in this weird in-between stage so like what do you do? Obviously you just shorten it and shorten it and shorten it. I say obviously, I'm just assuming that's what happens. I might need to talk to Sleep Lady, my sleep expert. I'm so back on my Beauty Pie corrector hype. This is so good. I did realise this is why my under eyes are creasing more. I forget that it's so much creamier and you have to set it or you have to use something more matte over the top which I don't. I like my Hourglass concealer, it's very creamy. It actually pairs really well with the Clé de Peau concealer. Amelia loves that combo and I can see why because it's, the Clé de Peau is definitely more of a natural finish rather than a creamy finish compared to this. But I'm not giving this up, this is like such a full coverage concealer and you use the tiniest amount so it's worth every penny in my opinion because it lasts forever. I've only used a couple up in my entire beauty lifetime and I use it pretty much every day so that's, to me that's quite impressive. Yeah it's Ryan's birthday today so we are getting ready to go for some brunch. We're gonna go to the Breakfast Club which isn't one of my favourites but I do remember every time we go I like it more than I think I'm gonna like it. Ryan actually really loves it, they do a really good vegan breakfast of some kind, I'm not sure, I can't remember. I haven't been with him in ages, he goes with his family sometimes I think but I know that he really loves whatever kind of vegan breakfast he has there and that there are good options so that is where we are going. This morning Delilah and I have been up since very early decorating a cake for him, found a vegan cake and decorated it and made it look very very very homemade. I got back from the Victoria's Secret press show literally last night so there was unfortunately no time for cake making. Sorry I'm gonna have to be right back because she's just thrown her bunnies out the cot again and she's just in there like standing up. That is like the surefire sign that she's not tired enough but like babes you've been up for like three and a half hours, you must be tired. I'll be right back. Let's try that again. I'm hoping that I'll get enough time whilst she's napping to write something for my sub stack. I've been loving it so much at the moment, just like this past week something like clicked and I was like oh I actually have loads of ideas, I feel like writing things down and just like banging out a few things here and there and it's just like so fun. So if you were a fan of the blogs back in the days and you actually are one of the few human beings left on earth that still likes to read, because honestly you guys I post it on my stories, it'll be the advanced preview of like everything I'm wearing for the week so like literally the links that you're gonna want when I post my outfits, no one reads it and then my dms are full of like where is this from, where's this from? I'm like wow you guys we really don't like to read anymore, nobody wants to read it. Genuinely does actually concern me how few people I know read and that's not me being snooty it's just actually does like blow my mind. I was on a press trip recently, I had my book with me as I do, I always have a book with me even if it's just my kindle but it was like time to kind of like wrap up and go and we had like everyone just had like an hour of spare time and they were like do you want to sit with us and I was like oh no it's okay I'm gonna like go read my book and the look that I got I feel like that was the first time that's been said on a press trip maybe in at least in a very long time quite possibly ever. I don't know and sometimes in in the industry I just feel like oh so cute that you read and I'm just like that's like so bizarre to me that reading is like I don't know just that like I can't describe how I feel about that. This and then the whole AI is like destroying books like I really don't understand that and I really need to read more about it which the irony being like sometimes I can't be bothered to read stuff like that and maybe I am also part of the problem but actually my thing is I will ask my brother because he will explain it to me in a way that doesn't make me feel stupid and that is easy to understand because sometimes I read things about AI and I'm like I don't really understand what is being said because I don't speak geek and by that I mean I'm not smart enough to understand what is going on. So with that in mind this is my petition to get everybody back into reading please read something I don't care what it is I honestly don't but if you do want to get back into reading I have a book club and it is free. We're really struggling today and now I think we're getting tired we've just flopped like legs here body over the legs that's how I'm tired I'm trying to like lull myself to sleep come on guys I'm really loving no eye makeup at the moment just like feels so easy and effortless and it's very nice as a contact lens wearer because you don't get to like midway through the day and your mascara starts to crumble and you are then just like you know maybe a little on my eyelids using Lancome shade three I love this kind of like all over the face all over the face and then it works really nicely as an eyeshadow as well whereas shade four is like I use it for the outer parts of my face just to add like dimension back in and it's a lot warmer so it just doesn't hit on my eyelids whereas shade three is more ashy and then I'm just going to use well the answer is three I love my Charlotte Tilbury cream contour for general contouring and every day the tip of my nose I just I can't live without it this is my little top for the day because we are going to be doing a lot of eating over the next few days so I might have to re-wear this top this is the best top and then I'm also wearing my postpartum jeans because I just know the blow is going to be horrendous for the next few days so just wearing my biggest jeans and a really oversized top and I'm waiting for the pregnancy allegations to start rolling in but anyway the tops from ASOS I'm obsessed it's so pretty I think with like a pair of linen trousers as well it's so nice so maybe I'll re-wear it but like style it like that over the next couple of days and then I'm wearing these sunnies with it I really like these sunnies with like a boho top because they're kind of like aviators like give me boho but these are like a modern aviator so they're a little bit more like boyish the very tom ford style but they're literally like I want to say 12 pounds I probably not 12 pounds I think it's probably like between 15 and 20 they're back in stock so I will link them they also come in like a really nice light brown now as well which I'm so tempted to get but you know my rule I really need to stop buying duplicates of things because I only ever wear the original item that I bought so I won't but if you want a lighter brown go forth but yeah that is my little top sunglasses jeans combo and then I'm I think but they're downstairs so currently bare tits and then we need to put some jewelry on but it's all in my suitcase which I still have not unpacked this is the cake that I decorated it says happy birthday Ryan it was meant to say happy birthday daddy it was meant to be Delilah Delilah's decoration however I underestimated the amount of these that came in these packs not ideal so I got happy birthday duh so then it had to be Ryan which I just feel like isn't as cute but whatever I am going to be helping myself to a tiny little square of his cake for breakfast I also got him the Ian culling the caterpillars anyway this cake is really good wow jump scare it's been a day all that planning all the trying to make sure Ryan's birthday was perfect and I forgot the one thing I can't control Delilah who has been an angel solidly for weeks and today she picked the day to be old Delilah before she like slept well honestly she didn't stop crying all day it could be teething I know whenever it's been teething I've just known in my gut that it was teething and it kind of comes on for like a spurt and then it will stop but this was like just the whole day and we couldn't like there was nothing we could do it got to the point where I was taking some very deep breaths whilst I was doing story time and then suddenly I was like reading the story and this tiny little hand so like just came up and was like poking into my mouth and I looked down and she's like staring up at me like she looks drunk and it was so funny and I just like burst out laughing and then she's like bursting out laughing and I felt like she she knew that she'd gone a bit too far today and I was really having to like dig deep we just got like a nice bit of comedic relief so we went to bed on a very good night which was it was so funny so happy about that before we ended on a high note I was about to retreat to my ranch on the sims because we now have the sims horse riding expansion pack why did no one dm me to tell me by the way I was literally over the moon I saw someone on tiktok playing what looked like sims but there was a horse and I was like oh my god I'm now back fully into it like I only play it on the weekends I'm not I ban myself during the week because I honestly could be one of those people that like doesn't live real life like I fear that I watch the matrix and I would be one of those people that's like finds out the the real thing and I might send me back in babes I like my fake life so yeah I play it on the weekends that I was having such a day that I really felt felt like I needed to go and live my virtual life on my horse ranch I've pulled myself back together I'm gonna do a bit of yesteryear for book club I'm actually really enjoying the reread and then I'm really craving a dystopian anything and it's not where I will actually start watching hunger games then I just again tv during the week I try to like read more but honestly really loving my yesteryear reread like there's like a little bit of foreshadowing at the beginning and I was just like oh this is why you do a reread because you see things that you didn't see before it's so good lots of the reviews from people and like the book club reviews so far like I didn't like the main character you are not meant to like her and I kind of like I love that I really like unlikable honest characters there's something about the realness in that that I really like like I love nuance and there's a lot of that in this like you can really tell that your main character is a product of her own environment and like her upbringing especially on a reread it's so good like you can really like I'm looking at it from the perspective of like how like how she really got to where she got do you think the influencer side of it is so interesting and I think I don't know maybe that kind of gets lost and maybe I see a bit more because I obviously I'm on I feel like the playing up for the camera element of it kind of like sometimes gets a bit lost if you're not constantly keeping that in mind or you're not super aware of the like toll that being on camera because it's a very niche thing even like television work still very niche acting quite I would say quite niche for the general public that playing pretend and the effect that even that has on a person like that's so interesting to me as well like I yeah I just think it's such it's such a good read but that is gonna be my evening and I will see you tomorrow I've had a lot of deliveries today so we can unbox those good evening everybody we are going for a little dinner and I thought I'd vlog because when we went to this restaurant it was one of the best meals that I've ever had and I was really sad about the fact that it was one of the best meals that I've ever had because I was so pregnant and I could barely eat all of the food and I'm so excited to eat all of the food now that there is space in my stomach we've got space we've got space to fill and I am ready to eat are you buzzing we love this restaurant we talk about this restaurant all the time there's a picture of these like savory pancakes which I just bring up a lot and like I'll just be like how do you remember these and I'm really hoping they have them on the menu thing isn't it because it's kind of small plates and like I think it's seasonal yeah but it's the same season yeah true so this is why I'm very hopeful have you looked at the menu at all no but anyway I thought I'd bring you along because you come to Brighton I feel like everyone should eat at this restaurant it's so good I do fear that in telling you all this rather than gatekeeping I may never get a reservation again but they really deserve it Rowan did just point out it's hard enough to get a reservation as it is it's 8 30 p.m the sun is setting that was the table I could get up uh I don't think I was eating chicken last time it was gonna be like 60k good what is this I bet that sauce is that sauce is gonna be good is that the pistachio was that a good brown yeah this is my favorite dish they still do it this is the cheese and jalapeno cornbread or avocado jalapeno cornbread can't remember but it's the only cornbread on the menu it is sensational good morning everybody I was meant to vlog this morning before this but I actually ended up having some issues with the last video that you will have seen copyright infringement all over the shop thanks to all of the music at the Victoria's Secret event I had a lot of things I wanted to unwrap unbox with you this morning so welcome to a new little segment which I want to call PR in the car except it's not PR it's my shopping addiction but my shopping addiction in the car is a bit too long doesn't really have a ring to it so here we are first things first I am very excited to welcome to the family some new sunglasses because I don't have enough oh my god it came with a free tote worth every penny that is actually really cute yeah I wanted a specific shape and I honestly didn't want to pay like 500 pounds for them so Jimmy Furley has entered the chat I don't normally go for these shapes but I wanted to try this is very unlike me oh oh I really like those sometimes the viewfinder lies to me no I really like those okay we're off to a strong start now the next pair kind of similar to a pair of Chanel sunglasses that I really wanted I do I want to be spending 500 pounds on them right now no they've got this like little angular bit on the corner a bit more square in their shade I think they're nice these are a good size as well I think I don't think I have the smallest head in the world so sometimes like I see sunglasses on other girls and they look so cute and then I put them on me and I look like Ozzy Osbourne and then I wanted to show you that I did in fact love Victoria's outfit from the other night so much but I bought it cute body I really like the fact that it's like sheer over the tummy but like it goes really well with the skirt and then you just actually do feel quite covered but it's quite cool at the same time cute so I wear it low rise so it's actually like quite long like below knee length oh it's elastic I didn't realize it was elasticated great so I just needed somewhere to wear it so someone please invite me somewhere anyway we are going for brunch Ryan's birthday celebrations continue we're probably wearing the exact same outfits that we started this vlog in you can't be too choosy as a parent sometimes when you find an outfit that works you just gotta crossing my fingers for outdoor seating so that miss Delilah can just like run around and we don't have to expect her to act like an adult at the dinner table when she's literally one year one year of age yeah we'll see how this goes oh girl not loving dining out at the moment we are officially sorting my life out I actually can't go on like this in my defense Delilah has come up however this is also my responsibility very much my responsibility I'm the caregiver and also the proprietor of this room so it's basically my fault it actually gets worse believe it or not this is the tidier room because I actually had to do some vintage bits the other day and I basically just like barricaded us in the guest room and let her loose let her make as much mess as she wanted but now it actually looks like we've been robbed oh god anyway in the meantime I actually need to pick out a few more like I love how I'm like we need to do this and then I'm like I'm actually not going to do that I need to go through my wardrobe quickly and pick out just bits that I'm not wearing that I want to go on my vintage because I'm back on vintage officially forgot my login for a bit I was locked out yeah we are fully back it's up and running there are new things on there and I want to just keep like a constant flow of stuff because there are always things where I'm like I look at pieces when I'm getting dressed and I'm like I've had that for ages I don't need it it's kind of heartbreaking because I really did like all of these clothes I really need to go through the archive aka my loft that is a space where there is so much so much work to be done but yeah I just want to quickly whilst we've still got a little bit of summer left in us get some summery bits out and on the vintage because in a couple of weeks time I'm probably going to start doing like more autumnal pieces but since we've still got a bit of heat wave going I thought why not and I've also I've got my bags ready to go for today as you are seeing this so if any of you dm'd me about the chanel tweeds both the tweeds the 22 and the 19 they will be listed on there jimmy choo shoes jimmy choo bag I think that was everything I'm still tbc on the giovanni antagona I just don't even know if like it's worth selling at this point also just so annoying because whenever you list these things on vintage like the reason I'm holding off I haven't listed the bags on vintage yet until you guys see this is because people will literally I will list a bag on there like a chanel bag and someone will be like 50p as an offer and honestly it just rages me it's a serious offers only oh this would this is so cute but I like it's got so big on me like this was a treat to myself when I was postpartum because I I did all my clothes and like nothing fit me so I bought myself like a nice vest top but now like the armpit is like down my boob what size did I get it in oh it's so nice size medium yeah it's just like way too big yeah we are going to list that there's a loewe shirt that I'm tempted to list you can't even really tell that it's loewe it just looks like a white shirt but there's a little logo on the pocket if you want it on there let me know oh odd news shirt I haven't worn this it's very oversized on me I actually have a taupe version of this that's currently on there as well so I might list this too and if you're a shirt wearing girly go off potentially this when it gets to September I'm going to list because I just really haven't worn it at all take these two and I'll get those set up this area here I really feel like there are some things I wasn't wearing but I also can't bring myself to part with them so that this area is just kind of at a standstill like I didn't wear this I also don't want to get rid of it I've got two little cute lacy dresses I haven't worn them I'm just I've come to the point where I think I'm not a mini dress girl however I'm actually more of a mini dress girl in the winter annoyingly maybe I will still get wear out of them tonight I don't want to sell them if I'm I might actually wear them oh if anyone likes these obvious shorts sorry there's a skirt over them if anyone likes these obvious shorts that I have there's a brand new pair listed on my vintage I accidentally bought two pairs really annoying really really annoying there's so many things that I've got sent back that I need to list I also have this brand new recent season odd muse dress so we get that on there I feel like that's good stuff like I don't really like listing like random really really old things that have been super worn like I'd rather the stuff that's listed on there is like stuff that you guys would really like actually want to pay for I'm gonna start with those I'm gonna tidy that room we're gonna tidy this room we're gonna sort my life out good lord okay let's do this we're making good progress and I'm moving fast so I have high hopes that we might get to leave the house this afternoon it always feels so empty in here after I cleared it I do need to give it a however that is a job for this evening because I need to get ready got the getting ready clippies in because they need to take Delilah out once she gets up from her nap we're actually trialing on one nap day today and I'm just scared how it's gonna go right we are gonna do a little minimal makeup thing just to spruce me up because I'm going out into the world like properly rather than my morning going out into the world which just involves me looking out at the sea and there is no one around so I would like to look like I had a little bit more sleep than I actually did last night because our house alarm for the millionth time decided to start going off last night in the middle of the night and how my daughter sleeps through this given the fact that when she was younger she couldn't hear a literal single sound without waking up like she is not a FOMO baby anymore she's a go away and let me sleep baby for the most part unless it's five in the morning I do love her for that because if that alarm had woken her up I think I might have personally gone to the man that installed it and strangled him can you say strangled on the internet that's the only word I have in my vocabulary to describe how I'm feeling so yeah I'm like trying to do this thing where I wear clothes and my boobs aren't out all the time but I'm just like sweating because like it's just too much material so I might have to change out of this because this is a lot I did actually just order this really pretty set from dish yes it was expensive and yes are we at the end of summer mm-hmm mm-hmm was it a sensible purchase I hear you ask uh probably not but when they said there's another heatwave coming I was just like you know I'm gonna buy it I've wanted it for ages and I wasn't gonna buy it because I was like we're right at the end of summer it's probably gonna get cold next week and lo and behold another heatwave I'm gonna have a real treat afternoon let me tell you Delilah is at this point where it's actually really fun I find it really fun personally like gone are the days of sitting just like watching tv holding her which I found so phenomenally boring like the cuddles are so cute but like outside of that it's just sat on the sofa all day which it used to be one of my favorite pastimes but not really anymore but anyway our girl she loves being outside in the world she loves being nosy like that trike we bought her was the best money we've ever spent I think it was like 100 pounds she gets to be nosy set up look at the world she's so happy anyway she loves an activity she loves to go out she doesn't want to be sat at home anymore like me and her and soft play I now understand why when I watch Molly Mae's vlog she's like how much soft play is too much soft play and I always used to be like is that a thing like do they need to go soft play that much I used to work I've never told you this before this is a secret that I have been hiding for many years just in case I actually interacted with any of you as parents in this place that I worked but I used to work in a children's soft play center that was my first job I never mentioned this online unless I mentioned it in my university video years and years back and then I probably made it sound like I wasn't working in a children's soft play center because no one wants to admit that they worked in a children's soft play center but yeah I used to work in one not a very good one might I add it wasn't monkey puzzle if anyone's wondering that if you're from the Brighton and Hove area and you grew up here I'm glad it's gone I'm glad it doesn't exist anymore because it was honestly like one of the worst soft plays in terms of like it was never cleaned like I actually used to volunteer to clean it like do extra shifts and extra nights because I was like no one is cleaning this place this is vile I used to be like I will never take my child's soft play however the joy you get when you watch your daughter enjoying herself to the max I think the people of TikTok would call this soft play maxing it's on another level she has the best time I don't know it's just so cute there's like a little area for her to go in and it's actually a really good like there's lots of things in this baby area the long and short of it is I'm taking her to soft play more regularly now number one because she loves it number two because she needs an immune system and number three because we need more activities for Delilah like she needs to run but she doesn't run yet so it is a good option sadly little by throw hello Victoria if you're watching but yeah I don't want to take her to soft play today because I took her to because today was the day before and try not to go too much so I am going to take her out we're gonna get a little mummy and boppy coffee we'll maybe get a lot of sweet treat we're gonna go and look at some books slash mom's gonna go and look at some books and Delilah will probably look at the books but she's probably not gonna be as interested as me because she's already been to the library this morning just trying to build ourselves a bookworm baby but yeah I feel like that will be a nice afternoon maybe a little trip to the park on our way back if we've got time but anyway I thought we might as well do a afternoon out that both mom and baby can enjoy yeah I just don't really understand this whole like dropping a nap situation we're using our lovely sleep consultant again because like I said I don't understand this dropping a nap thing like she just dropped from three to two so effortlessly but this is like such a weird in the middle we kind of don't know what we were doing the first time and her sleep was rubbish anyway so it just didn't it just kind of happened and we weren't really thinking about it but now we're trying to purposely drop one but maintain a good night's sleep for everyone involved and it's a it is a little bit different so I'm intrigued to see how this goes a little bit of lip oil I love these lip oils they're the best oh someone asked me the other day what shade of the deborian cc cream I use door d-o-r-e shout out to my bifro pouch it's doing all the work oh okay I've actually got an extra 25 minutes I don't need to get Delilah up as early as I thought apparently you don't have to be as strict on your naps when there's only one nap a day who knew I literally washed my hair yesterday and I've already had to dry shampoo it because I'm sweating so much this is the little set that I was talking about it's just so nice and light and airy and just gorgeous do I wish it was a bit cheaper yes but everything else that I liked like this that was cheaper fully sold out so I just took it as a sign and I do really like this stuff but I do sometimes question if it's like fully worth the money like this is very thin you know I do think there's a better quality thicker set that Amelia has and that just looks perfect and it's actually cheaper they didn't have it in my size but I thought you know what it's a million degrees like let's just go for it also think it will look really cute with my new sunnies I wore these with my um capri leggings I was wearing earlier this black t-shirt black capri leggings so cute I'm really really really enjoying them like they're not like a whoa look at me kind of sunglass you know just gonna test the other pair and make sure that I don't like them more I mean sod's law I'll end up wearing my 12 pound asos pair because I also just I'm obsessed with them but oh I do love these I think I love the little angular bit on them but they're not like too wide because I think if they were like bigger they'd look just like a Ray-Ban and I don't know that old style of Ray-Ban kind of it throws me back a bit too much in a way that I don't appreciate what a time to be alive that was though when everyone wore those Ray-Bans why have I still got these on anyway these hang a few things I found downstairs when I was grabbing this set these are all the things I have been wearing non-stop lately these jeans from Zara they're like barrel leg jeans from last year sadly oh these I'm wearing non-stop these were actually a really boring start of the show from that huge Topshop order I did these are so great honestly I actually think oh yeah these would be really nice for what I'm wearing I actually haven't worn this little skirt so maybe I'll vintage that I've been loving these jeans there was a rare few days where it was cool enough for jeans these are one of my favorite pair of light wash jeans they're from Rue and Rocker whenever I wear these I get so many questions on them their jeans are like made for if you've got more of a curve to your body and they have been so gorgeous for me like the past when did I get them like April just so gorgeous for me over the past few months while I still am like a little bit wider across my hips like they fit and look really flattering but I just know as time goes on they're just gonna like just get more and more comfy and they're gonna look really great either way I feel like they're just a very flattering cut because you know if a pair of jeans is flattering on like a more curved body shape that they're also going to be really flattering on a non-curved body shape Rue and Rocker they're really gorgeous quality I'm obsessed with them I really do question my sanity sometimes like why do I still have shirts in my wardrobe I can't tell you the last time I wore a shirt this one's really cute though I feel like yeah this one's got my initials like embroidered which is so nice I'm gonna part ways with these too yeah and I'm also wearing this so much this Zara top just like so simple but has such a nice impact with just like a pair of jeans I love her and then this top which is kind of similar to what I'm wearing now but not it's much more like it goes straight across your chest and it's quite tight and then it really flares out this top to me kind of gives me like hiding a pregnancy bump vibes which I feel a bit weird wearing sometimes but it's just so pretty and so cute I just wear it with like a little straight neutral bandeau underneath and it's so pretty good so tidy up there hello puppy mummy and Delilah's big afternoon out wearing the cutest little dress today from M&S I love it oh I actually think we've got this in the last vlog this little trip is not going as I'd hoped I am having to bribe someone with snacks every five minutes did she want her baby tuna no she did not so am I just carrying around a cup that she would like to play with every so often yeah but anyway I'm looking for two books and then I'm gonna take Delilah to browse some books as well yeah I know the book that I want is probably over here somewhere and I just can't find it oh no I just have to stay here until I find it oh there's one of the books I wanted this one looks like it would be a cute read it's not it's in this section okay we've got books for mum bunny lost lambs very unintentional animal theme going on here and Delilah also has a theme in the sense of mystical creatures which is my favorite category of read for her if you're a fantasy girl I really and you have a baby you're gonna like this I really love these books because they have a map at the beginning which if you're a fantasy girl you'll know all the best books start with a map at the beginning I have the dragon one now and I have the unicorn one I really want the mermaid one can't find it anywhere but there's baby unicorn so I'm gonna have to get that because I feel like the way it's written has a really nice I'm I'm really particular they have to have a good flow because the twinkle the sparkly unicorn one of these it doesn't have a good flow and it really annoys me but the dragon one perfect flow like perfect bedtime flow also really love the gruffalo for perfect bedtime flow anyway we need to go because I'm almost all out of snacks and that is my only negotiation that I've got going on with this kid so who's in charge not sure she's looking at me like why aren't we going this day is really not going to plan so not only do I have the grumpiest toddler known to man my camera has also just broken so if my filming quality goes and takes a nosedive from here just know it's because these cameras are held together by loads of tiny weenie little screws and once one goes the whole camera goes can you believe all my bags right now all the bags I own this is my favorite tote bag Jo Malone you have outdone yourself this is so funny I don't know why I just find it so funny also the new boys hit Bergamot and Cecil I'm wearing it today it's incredible I just think it's the cutest tote bag ever and it's so funny also found one last snacky at the bottom of my bag it must have fallen out so I think my sanity may remain intact it's so nice I literally posted yesterday it was a post that was like all the books I've read so far in 2026 and how I'm finding the time to read like how I've like crafted time into my routine to read which is obviously easier for me because my life is very flexible however I feel like there's probably something that everyone can take from what I do so yeah loving that and then whenever I like buy things it just goes on here first so like even if I've like ordered stuff and it hasn't even arrived like I'm posting about it it's just like a fun little place if you really want like to be slightly more ahead because unfortunately you guys are now the last people on earth to know anything because it takes me so long to get a vlog out now so if you kind of want to be a little bit more like ahead on like links and stuff and things like that and just like what I'm up to and what I'm thinking like it kind of goes there before anywhere else now I've also been doing my vintage so we now have like some sunnies on my vintage account as well I need to make my way through the rest of them the ones that are on there so far are got a little bit of a high low situation going on so we've got these the specs sunglasses which are really nice they're just I don't feel like they suit me maybe they do suit me yeah they were on there for 25 pounds and then I also just uploaded these YSL cat eye sunnies which are gorgeous I just have so many pairs and I just was having like a really ruthless clear out but they're so cool and then I also did I think I did these Prada sunnies again I have so many pairs that are just like the same shape so there's nothing no hate to the Prada sunnies because they're gorgeous but I was just being very very ruthless and I just I feel like my stuff doesn't get worn enough so I just would like it to go to a home where it's gonna be worn and then I've got these Prada sunnies complete still with box and everything and I just never really wore them that much they're basically still new more like funky they're very cool Rochelle Humes has these and she wears them all the time she looks amazing in them I think that's it but the others that I have that are going to be making their way on there hopefully today are this vulgar vulgary pair we're going very old school this muumuu pair I feel like these are going to come back around like big sunnies these YSL sunglasses which I love I had these I've had these for a long time but I just don't really wear them that much but this pair of Jimmy Choo's that are basically brand new this pair of Jimmy Choo's if you know you know these were just like part of such an iconic look like one of my best looks ever I think and then these BB sunnies like aviator style very classic so that's what I've got so far and then I've got a couple more but like I need to figure out how I want to do this like and find some cases and clean them up I've got a Dior pair they need cleaning and I also don't know where the case is for them and then I have a Marc Jacobs pair which I love so much have worn a lot this Givenchy pair of like eye glasses that you can put prescription lenses in and I just never did it and then you know some things go out some things come in my local bookstore closing I can't lie you guys the state of the world at the moment does concern me I'm not to make everybody anxious we're having a very hot summer it's giving me anxiety and I feel like the world is ending and no one's reading and AI is just like going to destroy books by the sound of it and I'm really hoping that that's just not correct and the internet is fear-mongering because I'm just getting a bit scared but anyway my local bookstore is closing sad did I take that opportunity to capitalize on the closing down sale absolutely they had some good books they didn't have like loads usually their stock is good I feel like someone went and ransacked the fantasy section before I got there however there were some things that I've been meaning to pick up first up Ali Hazelwood Bride there were like full series of books I could have gone really hard but I was like I'm with Delilah I need to like she's like basically almost falling asleep I needed to be prepared to carry her home like I don't have time to be buying full series of books so I was like I'll just buy the first ones because I also have this awful habit of committing to like a whole series because I bought it all and then I'm like what if I don't like that first book and then I bought the whole series this is really really dumb very risky so anyway Bride Ali Hazelwood apparently it's amazing apparently the second one not as good as the first which was one of the red flags on like me committing to more than one book Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid and then Malibu Rising also by Taylor Jenkins Reid these have been so highly recommended my friend Kate she loves a read like this and she's always banging on about it so I need to like know I need to know why she loves her book so much Caraval heard so much about it again it's part of like quite a I would say a lengthy series I think there was like minimum four books three yeah and then probably my biggest steal because this is like the largest book therefore the most expensive very happy to have a big chunk of money off of this Alchemise and apparently this is incredible it's also probably the biggest book that I will have read ever 1028 can't wait can't wait that is my book haul I'm gonna add that to my giant TBR honestly every time I get through a few books on my TBR I think I buy five more I have a problem I also have this that I need to try on I might do that whilst Delilah's napping but honestly I don't know if I have the mental will for this today so this trial might come in the next vlog I'm actually this is luckily two outfits I ordered because I'm going to see Ariana Grande I wanted something cute to wear luckily I ordered two different outfits because I was like like both of these options like let's just see I'm actually going twice I'm actually going twice they're from jaded so like they're a little bit uh skimpy but fun for a concert I'm actually having a bit of a wobble at the moment so I'm gonna like distract myself with some clothes I have been doing like a lot of thinking and the dangerous for me and think that I am thinking is like about my life over the next I don't know a few years like Delilah's starting nursery soon and she's only starting for a couple of days at first but like hopefully will increase the days and like by the time she's three will definitely like have increased the days whether it's that she goes to a different like she goes to preschool or whatever anyway like I'm gonna have a little bit more time back and like how do I want to use that time because at the moment I only really have time for like YouTube and like online things but when I get a little bit more time back like where do I want to put that time and like thinking about what I want to pour time into over the next like few years I don't know I feel like change is coming and I just like when change has happened in the past I've never really felt like I've never really knew it was coming even when I left my job I used to for anyone that's new here because I know there's so many people that are new and actually don't know like the full backstory but I used to work in events like and I did towards the end before I left I did like PR marketing events I didn't want to leave that job like I really was like I'm so greedy I just want like a regular income and then I want to do like all of the social stuff on top of that and like have dual income but like my boss at the time was like honey you've got to go like and I'm really grateful that she did tell me to go but she was basically like you've got to resign like you need more time off than I can give you like we're only allowed holiday in like three months of the year and stuff like that but I didn't make that decision fully for myself like I knew it was coming but I didn't make it for myself it was almost like kind of wanting to do it and then someone needed to like nudge me into it yeah change is coming and I feel like sometimes when change is coming you don't know about it it's kind of better I think that's the weird vibes that I'm currently feeling so anyway all this to say I would really like to just talk about clothes for a second and this is actually so cute I really hope it looks good on me this gorgeous little like cowl neck mini dress very sheer but it's fine I'll wear some hot pants underneath this and then I might actually wear like a little corset underneath as well so like I'm fully covered underneath and then this is just kind of like drapey and nice I feel like that will be really cute and it's all sparkly I have a mini skirt and a top oh also sparkly I didn't know on the website it was sparkly it's perfect it's like sparkly but not outrageously sparkly like it's catch the light sparkly so pretty wow that's just like a forever piece really isn't it oh gorgeous and then I got this skirt to go with it this is like a Mary-Kate and Ashley match top and skirt so they're not exactly the same but they pair really nicely together and this is meant to be worn really low rise which I'm a bit scared about I can't lie I don't know if anyone else has had this or has managed to at like one year postpartum actually solve this issue my scar my c-section scar it ain't like a little little line that does like goes straight and maybe a bit of a curve it's like a wonky fully wonky smiley face and this bit that curves up is like dimpled I actually saw a girl the other day at an influencer event and she's a mom of two and she showed me her scar and she was like oh I think it's like fused to my insides or something and then she showed it to me and it looked like an older version of mine like a less fresh version of mine but it looks like exactly the same where it's like got this dimple and it's just like let me show you just like got this huge it's not like that the other side it's like completely flat the other side and then I've got this like dimple and it curves up so when I wear low rise sometimes it pokes out and I am a bit scared but at the same time I'm just like it's so sad to not wear things because there's like a scar but at the same time it's annoyingly unsightly so my question being has anyone managed to at like 14 months postpartum has anyone managed to get that dimple to go away this scar has been massaged to the high heavens do I need to buy like the cup things no one say have another baby because that's actually not a reason to have another baby anyway got the low rise skirt got the top I feel like that's gonna be really cute together yeah I'm really excited I can't believe I get to go twice gonna get ready to go to soft play get myself out of this funk that I am currently in
