Severe food crisis? The Chinese regime culling trees to grow rice, subsidizing farmers

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has recently introduced policies such as "returning forests to farmland," "cutting down trees for arable land," "subsidizing 10 billion yuan ($1.45 billion) for spring farming,"... to increase food production, however, this only amounts to a small subsidy for individual farmers. Some analysts say these new policies indicate China's food crisis is already relatively severe.
