Hey guys, I'm Nisha from Nishahomemade.com. Today I'm going to show you how to make mayonnaise with
one egg in just one minute. See how thick and creamy this homemade mayonnaise is. Now you
can ditch the store-bought mayonnaise and make this really easy and quick mayonnaise at home.
To make one minute mayonnaise, I'm using the blender jar which came along with my hand blender.
So this is the newest addition to my kitchen, Panasonic hand blender. So into the blender jar,
I'm adding in one whole egg, 1 4th teaspoon of salt, 1 4th teaspoon of sugar, 1 4th teaspoon
of pepper powder. This is optional. I like the light flavor of pepper in my mayonnaise,
so I'm adding in pepper. You can totally omit it if you don't like the flavor. I'm squeezing in
half a lemon. Now I'm pouring in one cup of flavorless oil. You can use any flavorless oil.
Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to immerse the blender right up till the end
and blend it for a few seconds and then slowly bring it up and swirl and blend. So in about one
minute, the mayonnaise will be ready. So let's get started. So I'm just immersing my hand blender
right up till the end and switching on. Now slowly I'm going to lift it up.
My quick and easy mayonnaise is ready. Just let me show how creamy and thick the mayonnaise is.
Now I didn't add Dijon mustard because I don't like the flavor but if you like to add, you can
add about 1 4th teaspoon of Dijon mustard or mustard powder or you can totally omit like I did.
Now this mayonnaise will stay good for about two to three days if kept in an airtight container
and refrigerated. The blender also comes with a lid attachment so you can just simply cover it
with the lid and refrigerate. If you like this recipe, please give a thumbs up. Do subscribe
