THE BEST BUFFET IN ASIA! (Hong Kong's Market) | Fung Bros

I'm just seeing a pile of heaven right now, like what what what is this? Yo, what's going on everybody welcome to a buffet edition of Fungro's food today I'm here with A.V. and I'm here with model friend Julie And we are in Tsim Sha Tsui at the best buffet in all of Hong Kong The Market Buffet at the Hotel Icon This is one of the best if not the best buffet in all of Hong Kong I hear they fly fresh fish from Hokkaido And I heard this is like what the only hotel that serves durian and I grew up loving buffets I know you love Vegas. Oh, I love Vegas buffets But you know what you better eat your money's worth when you go to the buffet Yo, Julie, you about to eat your plate's worth? Less talking. I want to eat This is the market at Hotel Icon. Let's go Where's my plate at? Should we just let's just grab food We were in Japan. What's uh screaming at you right now? Yo, definitely this one with the caviar Yeah, I don't know what this is. The salmon nigiri. Okay. This shrimp Were you about to eat it right now? No, no. Are you sure? I have self-control. I swear you were gonna put it in your mouth Have you ever seen that much lobster? I'm using a pile of heaven right now. Like what what what is this? There's a lot of people who would come to this buffet and grab an entire plate of this lobster and we could do that But we're not going to do that Right here in front of me is some seawolf. I'm not gonna lie I've never had this type of a escargot before now seawolf. Why is it called welk? Stay welk Literally pigeon like I can't believe they're serving this but I mean it's got to be good, right? Look at it. Yo, you were really excited about this. Mmm has that really strong tea smoked soy sauce five spice flavor Smells good chicken You know in Japan before we eat, you know, we always say eat otakimasu Yeah, but we're not in Japan. So I'm just gonna say yo, I gotta take off my jacket Let's take a few notches off the belt buckle after this meal to round one First things first. I need to go for the seawolf right here I'm not gonna lie. Mine's a little stubborn. Is that is that am I just I don't know man. Oh I kind of want to try this sushi roll Okay, I'm gonna try this seared tuna that I saw it has a little bit of caviar Sushi buffet has caviar like honestly, this is not the standard sushi that you find at your regular buffet This is not a regular buffet This is hotel icon the market and you know They call it the market because they actually use a lot of market ingredients as you can see in the back of the kitchen They have a lot of bottles. They are using brand names to make this food. Let's go in on the pigeon This looks like quail to me. Now. The thing about pigeon is it does look like chicken or duck very tender surprisingly That tea flavor is deep Mmm, you're actually Korean. I am I am but you end up modeling doing a lot of gigs in Chinese countries Yes, well looks like you found your market My agency wants me to gain like 5-10 pounds. Oh, okay I'm obligated to eat more. This is only round one and I'm like pretty satisfied We got to keep going Round two. All right snake soup with Sunflower petals and lemon leaf if this is ground snake like like slithery snake. I've never had it before So, let's check it out. I Can't say that it tastes like snake We've got to try this pasta with the truffle, let's just get into it man. I don't want to wait anymore Wow, I Love creamy pasta, and that was actually very good And I'm glad that they gave it to me only in like a small amount because I probably would have filled up on it Dear soup. Oh this soup actually has a very strong date flavor You can smell it, right? Sweet it is. Let's try this. Oh Yeah Okay, we've eaten a lot of food now it's time for round three All right It is round three now Indian plate Partial Indian plate and I have kind of the mixed Asian Southeast Asian plate I want to see what she thinks of like a mango chutney. It's like a chips and salsa. Yeah And the chicken tikka masala, I've been eyeing this for a while now, I love chicken with some Chickens nice and tender too, you know, it's been stewed in there for a long time So what else you got on your plate? Man? I got Calbee There's a little more buttery a B you have fixed us a very nice Infusion charcuterie. I'm gonna go with the blue cheese duck sandwich time That wasn't the right combination no, no Round four. All right, this is dessert and in my hand I have one of them several panna cottas that they have which is a gelatin cream dessert I've never had this style dessert. I've never had panna cotta in a fake eggshell either Hey, that's me then Whip it up. Whip it up. Cheers That was like the most delicious shot. I've ever taken Wow You know how people say yo, that's so good. I'll make you slap your mom. I'm not gonna lie You slap me a lot harder than I thought What's good? We've got the cream cheesiness With the durian this honestly a be you fool me. I know you said you're gonna keep going but I lied The last bit of durian got me All right, everybody that finishes up our dinner at the hotel icon the market This is ranked as Hong Kong's best buffet and Hong Kong is really known for its food So this is a really good buffet, by the way I realized that I really like going to buffets in Asia because one I really like Asian food And that's when you get those authentic chefs bringing those authentic flavors all in one place I think I tried so many different things for the first time and I've never experienced that out of the face So definitely if you want to try something new, I guess and exciting adventurous come here I'm gonna have to loosen the belt buckle one notch the durian unlike any other place I recommend anybody who's visiting Hong Kong to check this spot out and in the comments below Let us know what your favorite buffet is.
