TOPSHOP HAUL + TRY ON | Hello October

Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today I have a little Topshop haul for you guys. I also have an ASOS haul that's just arrived and I don't know whether to merge them together but I think I'm just gonna drag this out and flog this dead little horse and make two videos. There's gonna be an ASOS try-on haul coming up. Anyway, today we're talking about Topshop. I did a little order actually about a week ago now. I did it before I went away to Croatia and then obviously have not had time to film this haul and there's some things that I'm really excited for in this bag so I really wanted to wait and unbox it on camera. So, without further ado, let's get into it. I feel like I ordered so much stuff in this haul but this bag isn't that big. But it is all summer stuff so I guess summer stuff is smaller though. But yeah, anyway. Firstly, my shoes. So these are a very classic pair of shoes for me. Some of you will know I live in trainers. I bloody love a pair of trainers. So if you've watched my videos for a long time you'll kind of know that I don't own a lot of pairs of shoes. I basically own sandals, trainers and a couple of pairs of boots and that's pretty much it. I don't own a ton of shoes and I definitely don't own a ton of summer shoes. So I thought I'd pick these up because these are gorgeous. They're very classic and I feel like they go beautifully with like my khaki trousers. I tend to wear a lot of trousers at the moment. I feel like in the summer these pair really nicely with the trousers and still give me a little bit of height. Because I do wear a lot of very flat sandals. So I feel like these are a slightly dressier sandal. And I feel like they'll go really beautifully with lots of my little black dresses and playsuits and things like that that I tend to wear in the summer as well. Even with this playsuit here I feel like I could throw these on and it would be nice for like a summer party or slightly... Basically any event that isn't casual. Because for any event that is just like standard everyday I would totally just wear my trainers. I wear... with anything. Summer dresses? What else is there? Summer dresses, denim shorts, trousers. Whatever it is I'm normally in trainers. But for anything that's like slightly more formal I thought these would be perfect. How much longer can I talk about the fact that these shoes are smart casual for? I'm gonna stop now. By the way, I feel like I should warn everyone. This should have been a disclaimer at the beginning of the video. I've had a coffee. And that's gonna annoy you. I've had a coffee. And not much food actually. I went to the gym this morning and forgot to eat after. So I'm just a little bit extra chatty today. Lots of you will remember a few years ago when I used to drink coffee religiously. Like it was part of my daily food groups. Back in like 2014. 2014? Yeah, let's go with that. And all of my videos I was just like... And then I gave up coffee and I mellowed out a little bit. And we had a good two years of me being like, Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. And now I'm back. Next we have this shirt which I'm actually very excited about. This... I feel like this whole haul is a little bit more smart than I would normally go for. I hate it when they do this. Why do they put plastic over it? Like why? Someone explain it to me. Because there's probably a very valid reason. But to me it just seems like excess plastic. This is such a cute shirt. It is kind of like three quarter length sleevy. I would say like bat winged as well. I would say this is going to come to just below my elbow. It's a little bit cropped. Has a little tie thing which I'm very excited about. I just think this would look so, so gorgeous with either like black... My black tailored Topshop trousers if I want to look like super smart. And then pair it with like a pair of trainers. Or some sandals if I want to look really smart. But I'd probably like dress this bitch down. Or with a nice pair of shorts. Skirt. Basically anything. It's very versatile. I got this in a 10. I think it's quite oversized. So we'll see how the fit is. I might need to get an 8. Yeah this is super cute. I love the colour of this. I feel like Topshop did something like this back in like 2015. And I love that. So I'm all aboard that again. This is the blue shirt. I feel like giving myself a little high five right now. For making things that look super smart on the hanger. Not look smart at all when I actually style it up. I am so happy with this. I was actually a bit worried that it would just look too smart. And just not really suit me very well. Like I don't do super smart even when I go to meetings. I'm always just like I turn up as me. So I was a bit worried that this just would look a bit too preppy and smart. And actually I just unbuttoned a lot of the buttons. I could do one up. But I kind of like the way it just kind of sits. And I've tucked it in so tight that it just kind of like holds everything in really well. I've paired it with these Topshop mom shorts. Which I really like. They've got lots of like distressing on the bottom. Which I'm a fan of. And then I've paired them with these Topshop black little kind of like almost wicker shoes. I like these. I think they work really well with the outfit. They kind of add a really current edge to it. The blue shirt is also great with a tan. Loving, absolutely loving that. Yeah and I think the denim shorts really help to kind of like casual it down. And just make it look super like smart casual. I've also tucked it in at the back and at the front as well. So it is a little bit longer. It comes down to around here. But I just thought seeing as I wanted to like have it open. This is the best way to kind of wear it. Because then we don't have like any wardrobe malfunctions. Yeah that is the blue shirt. I'm really liking this. This was the one thing I was kind of concerned about. Yeah, very happy with this. Whee! Again, excess plastic. Why? Here we have a very static, thanks to the plastic, cute little cami. I'm excited to try this on. It could look awful because these things don't have adjustable straps. And I have a very short shoulder to chest ratio. So this could be way too low cut. But we shall see. I love the brown buttons on this. You guys will know from previous things I've bought from Topshop. They are doing this a lot this year. And I love like the white and then the brown buttons. I just think it's so, so sophisticated. And just looks really pulled together. It's very cute. So excited to try that on. I've made my hair all static now. So next we have the white cami. This untucked is possibly one of the most unflattering things I've ever seen. It just looks like a sack. It's not cute. It's really not cute. So what I did was I twisted it. This is really hard to do one handed. And I tucked it. Rather than tying it in a knot, which can make things a little bit messy. Or just leaving it just tucked at the front where you've got a lot of excess at the back. This way it's a little bit more form fitting. And it just works with the fact that I've got some kind of tighter denim jeans on. It makes everything. It just makes the silhouette look a little bit neater I guess is what I'm trying to say. I've paired it with a little basket bag. And then these Topshop sliders. Which basically feel like slippers. And they are the comfiest thing in the world. I love these a lot. They're so, so easy just for everyday. So yeah this is how I would style this. Just really nice and easy. This is going to be a super versatile item in my wardrobe. I can tell already. We have a pair of trousers. How unlike me. A pair of trousers. These are like culotte style trousers. Which is something that is slightly different from my usual uniform that I would go for when it comes to trousers. They have this like broderie anglaise kind of side to them. Which I think is going to be really interesting. Because it's not lined underneath I don't think. So I think my tattoos are going to poke through a little. Which will be interesting. These could be way too long. I don't know. I didn't buy them in petite's I don't think. No. It wasn't available in petite's otherwise I would have bought it in that. But yeah I got them in a size 10. They have a nice little paper bag waist tie thing. I love a tie waist so I'm very excited to try these on. So the white trousers. Little bit, tiny bit see through. I'm wearing dark underwear as a test of it's see throughness. And they are very see through as suspected. They do have this panel over the thigh. Which I thought was interesting. I originally thought that was like a pocket kind of lining. But this doesn't have pockets. Sad. Topshop what were you thinking? It actually I think is to attempt to cover some part of it. I just don't really understand. There's definitely not a pocket in here. I'm very confused by this panel. But that does mean that my tattoos are covered. So they're not too distracting through the lacing on the side. In terms of the length they are a little bit longer than I would like. For me being 5 foot 1 and having absolutely no legs at all. So I will take these up a fraction. You can see there's a seam at the bottom. I'm literally just going to use some wonder web and turn them up. I say me. I mean one of my parents. Because I should not be trusted with things like that. But yeah I think they're very cute. I'm definitely going to keep them. Yeah they're just really really sweet. They go really nicely with the shoes that I showed you earlier. And I've just paired it with this Topshop halter neck. And I really like the look of it. I think it actually looks better in real life. On camera everything is looking very very like white at the moment and stark. Whereas this is actually like a little bit of an off white. And it works really nicely with the black and then with my tan. I think it looks really really cute. So yeah those are the trousers. In terms of whether they are a must purchase. I wouldn't say these are going to be like a must purchase from this haul. These shoes. These shoes are a must purchase. Everybody needs these. They are very very comfortable. But yeah I think they're very cute. And it's definitely something that I am missing in my wardrobe. That wardrobe there. Why have I left the door open? What am I doing? That's not distracting at all. These are so cute. I love these. These are basically really simple little broderie englave shorts. Can you see that? Can you see it? These are gorgeous. They have a really like nice stretchy elasticated waistband. I look very orange when I hold actual white garments up to my face. I'm just glowing. It's the Croatia glow. Yeah these are so cute. I think they'll be really nice to kind of like lounge around in. But I also think that you can dress them up as well. So yeah very very excited for those. I just think that I'm going to wear them so much. Like I have my Zara ones that some of you might remember that I bought. They're kind of black with like a white stripe on them. They're very like sports-y. But they're kind of distressed like they have random holes in them. They're meant to be really like super cas. And I wear them around the house all the time. I've been buying a lot of just like really easy little shorts recently. That's something I didn't really have and I've just been loving it. I feel so comfortable at all times. So these are the little white shorts. Like the little broderie englaze shorts. Very very cute. They make me look nice and brown. And I'm okay with that. And I've just paired this with a black slouchy top. I feel like you could basically wear anything with this. For me they're just going to be a very casual item. So I'd probably just throw like t-shirts on with it and tie the t-shirt at the waist or tuck it in. Something like that. And if I wore it with shoes I'd probably wear it with trainers. Just because I think these are going to be one of those casual outfits that I'm going to be running in and out of the house in constantly. So now that I've got them on I don't really see them being like a cute little summer holiday style like piece. I think these work better for just like lounging around the house in. And I'm okay with that because I love a pair of shorts to lounge around the house in. Next we have... What is...what is? It's a crop top. Who would have thought? I never buy crop tops. So very cute, very simple, very cropped little cami. I think this will go really nicely with the white trousers that I purchased. I think this would look very very cute with them. I don't know if there's like the... The... I don't know if the paper bag waist that has a tie and then the tie on this would be like too much together. But it could be very very cute. So I am very excited for that. I think it's just going to be a really nice versatile little summer cami. Especially because it's cropped. I just think for me because I wear so much high-waisted it's kind of like a forced thing when everything comes up high-waisted on me because my body is so like... But yeah I think it would be very very versatile. How many times can I say versatile in this haul? Then we have the little black cami. It's very very simple. Fits really well. I got a size 10 in this. Just fits absolutely perfectly. And I've just paired it with these blue jeans. Oh what is going on with my hair? I've paired it with these blue jeans from Zara again. And then these Topshop shoes which are kind of cool. I like them a lot. So yeah I've just gone for a black and denim outfit and I really like it. That's kind of how I would style it. But basically I'm going to throw this on with absolutely everything over the next few months because it's just one of those versatile pieces. How many times have I said versatile by now in this video? Who knows? Okay now we have a skirt which you may think looks a little bit familiar because this is basically a denim version of the Urban Outfitters white skirt that I bought. That basically looks identical to this except it's in a linen fabric and the cut was awful. It was too long. This is much shorter. It was kind of see through a bit. It just didn't work for me and I sent it back. But this is a denim version so it's not see through. It's shorter. It has a slightly different slit but I still think it would open up slightly better than the other one. The cut looks to be better. I'm not holding out hope because I just think that maybe this cut is just very unflattering on me in general. But I wanted to give it another go because I think that it could look beautiful. Especially with that black cami. Next we have the white skirt. I love this. This fits so much better than the Urban Outfitters one. I'm really really happy with this. It is gorgeous. I do find that with white it can be a bit of a tricky one. Definitely is not a slimming colour but I think this is really really cute. Just be nice for summer parties. It's very like smart casual. Very very cute. Again really like wearing it with these shoes and I think with this bag. Like this basket bag. It just makes a really really cute outfit. And the halter neck again works really well with this. And I think it makes it a little bit more dressy. And I think for day time you could pair it with just like an easy cami. Or maybe even just like a halter neck that isn't black. I have a tan one and that could work quite well with this. So yeah I think it's quite a versatile piece. It is very very grown up for me. But I like it. Yeah I think it looks cool. What do we think? I feel like I prefer this to the trousers. Just putting that out there. I love it. So so cute. So I think this again could go really nicely with like the denim skirt maybe. The white trousers potentially. I mean there's too much patterning going on. I think brodering anglaise and gingham could be a bit too much. But I just have a tonne of stuff in my wardrobe that I know this will go with. Lots of trousers. Lots of shorts. Jeans. I'm just. I love this. I love it. I actually have a really nice pair of little like black tailored shorts that this would look gorgeous with. So yeah. Very excited for that. It's so so cute. It's actually from a brand that's not Topshop. It's called Flynn and Sky. There you go. So next we have the Sky and Flynn top I think it is. I love this. I think it is so so cute. Fits perfectly. Really really happy with it. Just paired it with these Zara jeans which I've had for a little while now. Still love them so much. And then Topshop shoes as well. But yeah I just think that it's going to be so cute for days like today where it's very grey but still kind of warm. So you don't want to be in like shorts but you want to wear like less on top. This is very very cute. I really really like it. And finally the items that started this whole haul off. Because I saw Topshop tweet this and I freaking loved it. I'm hoping this is still in stock for you guys in case you want to get it because it's just stunning. So I'm thinking this with my little like... What am I doing? What is this? My little ponytail extensions that I have. We call them the Ariana Grande ponytail extensions. I'll pop a photo here if you don't know what I'm talking about because I don't know if you will have seen it in a vlog yet. At all. Actually on YouTube at all. Yeah when I've got my extensions in. With this. So cute. And this. They go together. I just love it. So this is obviously a little bit more fun I would say. More for like nights out and festivals than the rest of the stuff in this haul. But I love it. I also think this would look really really pretty with like a white shirt. I just love polka dots and I really like the way this has been done. It's got like your frill on the bottom of the shorts, frayed hem, really nice like black denim but the little spots on it are kind of... They've been stamped on and they're white but they're kind of like a grey off white because the black is still shining through. It's just like it's not perfectly done and I really like that. So I'm hoping this fits well. I'm so so excited to wear this. This is just... I love this outfit so much. I can't. I just can't. I'm done. Stick a fork in me. I'm done. So this is my final two pieces. I took a big risk on this. I don't think I said this in the haul but I took a massive massive risk on the ordering of these shorts. I ordered these in a 10 and luckily they fit. They're not like super super small. So basically Topshop shorts always end up being like super freaking tiny. You guys will know in the past I've always like sized up. I ordered these in a 10 and they fit. They do fit like a glove which is worth saying. So if you want more of a like baggier size and then you want to belt it, go a size up. But yeah I'm so so happy because I really didn't want to have to send these back. It would have broken my heart having to send the bottoms back and try and get another pair. But yeah they're just so cute. I love... Oh my god. It just makes me so happy. I cannot wait to rock this at a festival this summer with like my little top ponytail. I think it's going to look so cute. I'm so happy. The top fits really well as well. Just like literally like a glove. Straps aren't too long. It's just my dream outfit. It is so so cute. I know this isn't going to be for everyone but I just think for the summer, for my holidays, for just like whenever I ******* feel like it, this is just amazing. I'm so very happy with it. So yeah. Thank you Topshop for creating this because it is beautiful. I also just love the frill along the bottom. This is so cute. I feel like we can officially label this Topshop haul a freaking success. I'm so happy with everything I got in it. So I think I've chatted quite a bit. I'm going to leave it here for my little Topshop haul. I hope you guys enjoyed this.
