Mysterious loud bangs heard in Bozhou, Anhui (March 3)

At around 2 am on March 3, residents of Bozhou, Anhui Province heard several loud bangs. The sounds were like thunder, earthquake or aircraft sonic boom. Officials said no abnormal weather or natural disasters were detected, and the reason for the bangs were unknown.

Internet users called it a celestial phenomenon signaling the change of government. The same sign was said to have occurred during the enthronement of Chongzhen, the last emperor of China's Ming Dynasty (1368 -1644 A.D.).
