Hey guys, welcome back again to All About Jamie. And this time we are going to my favorite city.
Again? Again. Oh my goodness. I don't know how many times we've been there already.
Never enough. It was so crazy. The business class lounge was completely filled and full.
We couldn't find a seat for 25 minutes. I felt I was at a canteen. Yeah, I think we should start
walking to our gate. And so see you guys in Paris. See you. Came straight to the shops,
not to waste any time at all. Which is better? Show me. How I look? A pair of black in the style
of the white. Because I need like a pair of white and a pair of black shoes. I'm at Dior Monterey
and I'm in my sweatpants from the plane. I feel really ugly. I love to wear boots like
that because they're super comfortable for traveling. If it fits and it looks great on me,
I usually buy it in every color. And today I think I'll take both the black and the white.
And I can just wear them with everything. Great.
So after I've decided on which pair of boots I should take,
I shall have a glass of champagne. Does that make you feel better? Always, always. Champagne
always makes me feel a lot better, prettier, happier. Yes, your skin looks better now.
It's so cute. Matchy, matchy. Super matchy. This one looks very common, right?
This is not a good choice. It will scratch your... It will scratch my everything.
My dress, because it has all these claws. So I usually try not to buy things that
have short edges. This looks like Jamie speaking to Jamie.
You're speaking to yourself in a mirror. I love my boobies. 2,900 euros. I see.
Hi, come in. Bonjour. Bonjour. So this is our room at FABU. We love this hotel because
it's very convenient and very safe. First, I need to check. Yes, okay, the grouting.
So I'm having so much problems with my marble floor. Grouting. Yeah, the grouting. What is the
grouting? It is not the thinnest. It's definitely not the thinnest. It's not the thinnest, so
perhaps... Yeah, it's pretty thick and wavy. It's thick and wavy and it's white as well,
so it doesn't mean that it's all that bad. Oh, look. Bauman shampoo. I didn't know they do
shampoos and all these things. Wow. These days, brands are really doing all these
shower gels and body lotion. Okay, two sinks. This is good. The left one is always mine.
Okay, we've got a view of the other building. Not much of a view. We're hungry and we have just
arrived in Paris and it is 2 p.m now. We just got the room and we've been waiting since 8 a.m,
8.30 a.m, so we're hungry and I think... And on Sundays, a lot of restaurants don't open in
Paris, so we just have to check out the room service menu. Because I redid my foundation,
I'm ready to go shopping. Is it cold? Well, it's okay now, but I'm sure if I stay out in the cold
any longer, I will be very red. All right, let's go. So cute. 60. Okay. Wow, it's so big.
How heavy is it? This is not so bad, but I think the other one is heavier.
Oh my goodness. Wow, strong man. He's a traveling salesman. Door to door. Whoa,
trippy man. It's a bit trippy here. Trippy. It's very trippy.
Whoa, look, even the lift is trippy.
Come to you guys. It's a trippy lift. Whoa, trippy man. Yeah, it's very dark. Nice.
It's a circle, I'm almost fainting. Jamie loves circles. Guys, you know what's a
dog? Yes. Small dogs. And holes. Yes, holes. Thank you. Yeah, I think so.
I think it's a good price. It is. Yeah. You see because it's so high. It's going to be too high.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You're stacking it. Look at this very nice area.
Wow. You know how much one of those eggs cost? Above you. Trunks in different colors. They got
Tiffany blue. They got emperor yellow. Look at that. It has the pink one. Yep, but you don't
have this. And do you have the emperor yellow? No. Check out the sunglasses trunk. Wow.
Yes, she does. She resells the internet.
Yes, I do. Yes. We are quite jet lagged. I'm feeling the fatigue, you know, coming to me.
And we are going for dinner right now. I'm just going to have something light.
Because it's like what? 3 a.m. in Singapore now. And yes, I know I sound a little bit zombie after
like several champagnes at the stores. We are at the Le Bristol Hotel going to
114 Fabu for dinner. It is a place where we came several years ago and they absolutely,
they have absolutely the best beef cabbage. Yeah, this trip we're going to explore a few
different types of restaurants. Not the three Michelin stars, but tonight's the one Michelin
star. 114 Fabu at Le Bristol Hotel. And Jamie likes this restaurant. It's fast. It's good.
Not many restaurants in Paris are open on Sundays. So this is one of them. So it's a good choice. So
let's go and crash back. Oh my god. I'm so tired. It's a long day. We've arrived at what time? 7
in the morning. It's now 7 at night. 12 hours and we are hungry. We are tired. Cold. It's freezing
here in Paris. How's your bread? Firstly, it's cold. And my pet peeve is cold bread in restaurants.
The butter is from Normandy. He said it's very addictive. Wow, the French love their bread cold.
The butter is good. The butter is very good. The bread, I wish it was hot, warm at least, but
the French love their cold bread. So what can you do? Welcome to France. It's a gift. It's a gift
from who? From the chef. I see. And may I know what? It's got some shellfish in there. Yeah.
What is it? Emulsion or something? Emulsion of shellfish. It's really good.
Very yum. It's a gift. It's a gift from the chef. Thank you. Thank you, chef. We're beginning
here for you with the tartare, the salad with lemon and olive oil. This one is a
speciality from the 114. Yes. And for you, sir,
eggplant salad, black truffle dressing and parmesan. Okay. Bon appétit. Thank you very much.
So guys, it's not beef carpaccio. It's beef tartare and it's cut. This is the best one ever
that I've had. It's quite different from the usual beef tartare. I don't know what is this,
but it gives this sourish, pickle-ish kind of taste. It's not olives. I thought it was olives.
Maybe it is. Is it olives? Let me try. I think it's olives. It's olives? Yeah. No, but it's very
sour. No, olives are sour. Okay. They look like lettuce. They're very thin. They're very thin
and it has holes in it. Okay. Good. It's good. Wow. Very, very good. Ladies and gentlemen,
that's why I'm having just salad because I'm having my gout a few days ago and I'm just
starting to recover. I don't want to trigger it again. Okay. Just a little bit. Okay.
That's my portion. Okay then. That's mine. I got to eat this tonight. Vegetarian.
Juice of the shellfish. Nice. Bon appétit. Thank you. Winter vegetables. It's from the
vegetarian menu. So guys, I'm having this winter vegetable dish. It is a warm dish,
main course. So, let me try it. They always do such good vegetarian food in France and
some of the chefs would actually have their own garden where they grow their vegetables like
aloe vera. I love aloe vera. There's peas. Peas. The vegetables are really sweet. I'm gonna try it
and I'll let you guys know.
That's really good. Absolutely love pavlova. Yes or no? Good?
110 percent. Best. Best. Pavlova ever. What? Best. Pavlova ever.
Enjoy. You guys are so young. Yes, 18. You look younger than that.
Don't squeeze. Don't squeeze. It looks tight. It definitely looks too tight. Come on.
We are at Substance, one of the restaurants that we have been for lunch like I think two
trips ago. And the reservation is at 7.30. It is 7.32. Everyone's waiting out here. Everybody
is still waiting out here and the service staff is still setting up.
Good.
This dish looks quite brown.
I love artichoke. I really like it. But it smells really good and it has compote cheese and
like truffles I think. Yeah. Good. That's good. Okay.
So, this is rougue. It's also known as the pituitary gland. It's considered a delicacy in
France. And it is truly an acquired taste. Sometimes I call it brains but it's actually not
brains. Very bad for people who have gout. Oh god. And I have gout now and I'm eating this.
Terence has been struggling with gout. So, why am I eating this? I don't know. Wait. Is it good?
If it's not good, I'm not gonna waste my gout attack. It's very sweet. I don't know. Tonight's
pretty sweet for my taste. It's not bad but it's not the best that I can have. Okay.
You can choose any character you like. Any colour. And then you can really personalize. Right. With
your name. With your name. With a nice ribbon. With something really personal. So, this is where
they personalize the handbags. And you can choose to put whatever you want on the handbag to make
it like a unique piece that is personalized for you. Wow. Look at that. I would agree with this
in the study room. This is the exact replica of Ferrari 250 GT. It's an exact replica. So,
I'm gonna ask how much it is. I love it. I want to know how much. 590 euros. 590 euros. Oh,
that's okay. Plus the frame and everything? Yes, plus the frame. Oh. Okay. I think you need six of
this to decorate the study room wall. Let's get it. But how are we gonna ship it back? Yeah, it's
really nice. Yeah. Do they ship or do we have to? Yes, yes, yes. We can do it. We can ship via
Beaumarché. Oh, okay. Of course. Yeah, I think we should do it. The gold is very nice. Oh,
it's a Le Mans 66. It's a very special one.
Bellini. Wow, there's something different. OMG, I just made a mess on the table.
This is good for your health. So, by the way, guys, we are at the Aspic restaurant.
First time we're here. It's a very cozy restaurant.
And this is number what?
Food. Yep. And I didn't have lunch, so I'm very good for a seven course meal. Okay.
It is a chilly morning and we have just arrived at the Dom Perignon property in Champagne.
Yes. Cheers. Nothing like a glass of bubbly in the morning.
It is super chilly today and we came straight to lunch to this restaurant called Le Clarence.
It's a warm dish, main course. So, let me try it. They always do such good vegetarian food in France.
