So Rene, what do you think we're gonna do for the next season? I think the next season we probably
will have to work differently or we have to travel differently or we have to do things differently.
Hey guys, welcome back to the 24 Hour Travelers channel. Today we're doing things a little bit
different. We're trying to get in touch with all the people we've shot in the past on our channel
and asked them to send us video clips of where they are and what they're up to.
The response has been phenomenal and we hope you enjoy this week's episode.
Malaysia is still under movement control order and some parts of the world are also still under
lockdown. So the first person on our list is Terrence Moses. Terrence lived to drive. He's
an old friend who has driven his Kombi T1 from Malaysia to Germany and over 40 countries.
This guy absolutely loves VW Kombis and he has a garage in Klang. Look him up if you have a
vintage VW. He's your man. Hey guys, I'm Terrence Moses from Live To Drive. I'm here in my garage,
Kultus garage. This is my very first Volkswagen Kombi. We don't have customers coming in. We're
just doing all our small project cars. My advice to you guys, take it easy. Just stay there,
hang in there. Probably we have two or three more weeks to go. So take care and all the best,
guys. Peace out. With Terrence, we got invited to attend a VW event in Songkla. That was fun.
Van Halen got to convoy with VW buses across the Malaysia to Thailand border,
camped out three days by the sea. Of course, alcohol, dance day and night. That's where we
met Ritchie. Ritchie also has a Kombi and also tried to make us buy one. Must be a VW thing.
Ritchie is now our carpenter guru, helping us with mama bear's interior. Thank you, Ritchie.
We travel a lot together with Ritchie. Hi guys, our van life has turned into home life. Stay safe,
stay at home during COVID and we'll be out in our camper vans hopefully pretty soon. Trying to eat
at home, cook at home, start thinking about how to live life a bit more simply. In 2017, we bought
a Toyota Lite S Premier 1.8 and named it Van Halen. We took it to Blue Pin Garage to learn about
engine maintenance from our friend Joe. We overhauled Van Halen and drove all the way
from Kuala Lumpur to Chiang Mai, even did the Mei Hong Son loop with no hiccups. Thank you, Joe.
Okay, during this PKP season, since I don't have a lot of work at the workshop, so I'm concentrating on my second business,
which is food business, traditional Kelantanese food. A little message for all Malaysians,
since we're at the end of the PKP, it doesn't mean we're still out of our limits.
Please take care of our social distancing. Don't forget to wash your hands. Bye.
Farid and Fitra are from Jitra Kedah. They live in a kampung house and they used to own
a Nissan Urban Caravan that has been sold. He is now building a Mercedes 410 motorhome.
This is Ringo and his camper van. It's a DIY camper and he resides in Melaka.
We're hoping for a chance to visit him one day to shoot a van tour video but for now,
we will stay put and stay home.
In Jitra, we made some friends with a female vanlifer, Suraya, and her camper van is a juara named Mr. Champ.
We shot her van tour video at a waterfall and she sells coconut shake smoothies in Luna's Kedah.
So if you're ever there, please go try her smoothies.
Abang Bomber is always rescuing people and that's how we met.
He is always giving us useful tips about engine maintenance. Thank you, Abang Bomber.
Usually, my job is more about teaching but this time, we will be assisting in the operation.
We will stay put for a while while waiting for other friends to come.
In helping, I made this video for all the listeners.
I really, really hope everyone stays safe.
I really, really hope everyone listens to the government's orders and follow the latest guidance.
If we are allowed to go back to IDP3 later, please don't go back. Stay at home.
Because we are still in the midst of a struggle.
If you need to leave the house, please do so.
To the frontliners out there, you are our heroes.
Everyone else is also our heroes.
I just really, really hope everyone stays safe.
Stay at home. Keep fighting.
We can do it.
God willing.
Don't go there, go here, go there.
Hi, Summer Runway.
I'm Daniel.
I'm Leah.
And we're a British couple currently living here in Cologne, Germany.
We've been fans of the 24 Hour Travellers channel for some time now
and we've recently become Patreons.
Leah and I have had our van now for just over a year.
We do hope that one day we'll be able to take some time out
and travel in the van a bit further distance,
hoping to make it as far as Southeast Asia.
Both Leah and I have now made a full recovery after contracting the COVID-19 virus.
We just wanted to say a big thank you to you both
for your kind messages and kind words.
Take care and bye.
This is where we took Roxy and Bo for a ride on quad bikes
into the jungle with Captain Nick.
All these episodes are available on our channel.
Just check out our playlist.
...movement control like that.
Because...
...ini tak boleh, itu boleh.
Hari ini, itu tak boleh.
Hari esok, itu boleh.
Macam kesana, kesini.
Sini lah sarang saya, duduk kat sini.
Dalam 50 hari, GMTO, MTO, PKP, apa-apa ajalah.
Spirit of campervan lives on lah.
Tak kira lah kena social distancing ke apa.
In the meantime, jaga diri.
I use my free time doing a lot of volunteer work.
I hope you guys stay safe.
We will be starting to go to work again next week.
Just practice your social distancing at work as well.
So in Malaysia, we have the VW community and we also have the Land Rover community.
This is Hamid.
Hamid we met through our best buddy Azwa.
And it is through them that we met Hugo and Emmeline.
They are a French couple traveling around the world in a Land Rover Defender.
Hi guys, this is Leslie Ansoy.
So after five weeks of lockdown here in Nepal, we are today flying back home.
Our car will stay in Kathmandu and we hope to come back as soon as possible to finish the trip.
Stay safe.
Bye-bye.
Hi, I'm Johnson Lam from Kaki DIY.
Well, just like everyone else during this MCO, we are stuck at home.
But I took this opportunity to do something to my pajero camper.
Well, I took some time to upgrade the solar system.
I even worked on the dual battery system.
I used the 3D printer to print face shields and also mask straps for a front liner.
A message to everyone is stay safe at home and don't forget to keep yourself healthy as well.
Maybe we can still enjoy our time by social distancing by camping a few meters away.
I'm Steven.
For those who don't know me, I started the live to drive trip
from Malaysia to Germany with four other friends in 2017.
This is my bus, Flying Ace.
I understand in this period of COVID-19, we are all pretty stressed out.
So I found different things to do.
This is one day where I decided to set up my camp here to start working on my bus.
I wish everybody good health.
Stay safe.
We met the Diesel Gypsies through Terence of Live2Drive
and they're traveling the world in their VW camper.
They live super basic and they are true travelers
because they've almost made it all the way around the world.
They are now in Uruguay and this is the message from them.
It's Anna and Felix from Diesel Gypsies.
Since 2014, we drive around the world with our Volkswagen van.
First we drove to Asia, then we shipped to Canada.
In the last two years, we are driving all North and South America.
And now we are in Uruguay.
All the borders are closed.
Hope this will end soon and stay safe.
So at the VW Songkla event, we also met this interesting dude called Peter Gorasta.
Him and his brothers formed Pakatan Adik Beradik
and they sell merchandise in their VW combis.
I think Alan would be the first vanlifer in Malaysia living full-time inside his
We featured him on his channel.
You can go and watch his video.
He showed us the interior of his campervan.
Self-built DIY.
He's really talented.
He is a craftsman and makes leather wallets.
So check out his Instagram and here's his message.
This is Damien.
That's his rooftop tent.
That's his Esteemer Lucida campervan.
That rooftop tent used to belong to us.
We sold it to him.
Hi Renee. Hi Sam.
Damien here with Lucky Lucy.
I had a lot of work during MCO but after MCO,
I'm not sure about what I will have as work.
But I do know that if we all take care of each other,
we can get through this.
Hello Sam, Renee.
We are actually doing some hobbies here.
See the pictures behind.
Actually want to say a big thank you to all of the airlines
bringing back our loved ones.
Social distancing is very important.
Hi everyone.
Hopefully when everything is okay and safe,
we shall meet again and celebrate together.
Stay home and stay healthy.
Selamat berpuasa.
Tahun depan insyaAllah kita akan kembali kepada normal.
Kehidupan normal semula.
Saya juga percaya rakan-rakan semua dah tak sabar nak keluar.
So okay, bersabar semua ya.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Dan ingat kita putuskan rangkaian wabak COVID-19 ini.
Stay tuned.
Thank you for watching.
Kita jumpa lagi di episode yang akan datang.
What exactly we'll be doing?
Belum tahu lagi.
But what's important, we are going to finish this van.
And I want to wish you all the best at whatever you guys are doing right now.
And we have no choice but to adapt.
I'm not a big fan of it, but we have no choice to do that.
And stay safe, please.
Thank you for watching.
We'll see you in the next video.
Thank you everyone for participating in today's video.
We hope you guys enjoyed it.
Please stay safe as the pandemic is far from over.
