Wuhan: Violent suppression of protestors against the construction of a waste treatment plant

Knowing that the local authorities would build a large waste treatment plant in their densely populated residential area, hundreds of people gathered in front of the local district official offices on February 3 in Canglong Island, Jiangxia District, Wuhan, Hubei, to protest. When they insisted on their rights, plain clothes and uniformed police brutally suppressed several locals.
