CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY!!

Nice butt crack. Good morning. Ah, right in. Good morning guys. I am up with the boys and we are working on our numbers right now, which is so cute. Look at this. Three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10. Awesome. Good job, bud. Okay, Cohen's turn. Okay, Cohen, you have to push this one. Push this one, do it with him. I love apps. I swear, it makes learning fun and so they're having a good time. But upstairs, the sheetrock is almost 100% done and it's just the afternoon right now and Thomas went and picked up all of our wood floor today so we can start getting that put in and it's gonna make such a difference. It's gonna be so pretty. We have some really cool ideas. We're gonna actually do beams across the ceiling and we're gonna look at what that wood looks like today and pick that out. But yeah, today's gonna be a pretty eventful day. I did get all my mail from, I had like an Amazon shopping spree the other day. Yeah, but I have lots of presents to get wrapping. Better start doing that. Oh, and here's our tree in the daytime. Isn't it cute? Yay. But guess what it is? Isn't that gonna be good? What, you mean we get to read a different book besides the Grinch? We've literally read the Grinch like two times a night. Show me the book. Oh my gosh, forever. So it's Twas the Night Before Christmas but it's The Bear and the Sandal. What? So they're gonna look at that one. Raiden, are you excited? Put that down, that's paper. Raiden. Mom got you something. Raiden, sit. He's sitting. Does Raiden want a present? Ashley tells Raiden to sit when he's sitting. Hey, Raiden, come here. Do you want your present? Yeah, okay. This is like his present but you know what? He doesn't have anything to chew on right now, so. Oh, did you see that? Ah, you want to chew on that? You want to chew on that? Dude, he's almost as tall as you are. Oh my gosh. Thank you. Okay. That was a definite win. He got so excited when he saw that. He just jumped. You guys, look, is Dad or Raiden winning? Who's winning? Dad. Dad? Because guess what, guys? It's snowing outside. It's snowing. You want to go look at the snow? You know what? I found one pair. Darn it. Since the move. So we gotta keep looking. Thomas told me to watch. Apparently something's supposed to happen. Ooh. That's a big fire. That's a big one. Raiden, don't you come. Isn't it fun out here? It's so cold. Yeah, we should put it somewhere. That's our big, huge heater. Yay, but it is cozy to sit out there by the fire. Aw. I feel like I haven't vlogged, like, at all today. I've just been working a ton on my phone and I feel like that's very boring to watch. So I did wrap more presents, but this is something else that we do because my mom always did this. So she wrapped, like, our presents in different paper, like, from her. And then Santa presents always had, it was always in Santa paper. I have a few Santa paper. Presents right now. So here's a few that I wrapped so far and I think I'm gonna go put these underneath our little tree out there. What do you got? Okay, we have never put presents out before Christmas Eve because if you knew my kids, when they see a freaking present, they go insane and, like, scream bloody murder and they have to tear it open right now. So we're gonna see how they do. Looking at these. Hold on! Just a second, guys. You guys are gonna be able to see their reaction like right now. I don't know where your waffles are. Where's my waffles? Where's my waffle? Wait, come here. We've got half-naked kids. One's half-naked up, one's half-naked down. Hey, look. Hey, guys. What's under the tree? They're not open yet. We have to wait till Christmas morning. Go insane. Yeah. Santa Claus has to come on Christmas Eve, though. So these ones, these ones are just from, like, other people, like, these presents are from, like, Frosty and Rudolph. They get their presents delivered early. But guess what? Santa will come on Christmas Eve and he'll bring you more. I have no idea what's in it. It's a surprise. We cannot, hey, we cannot open those until Christmas. No peeking until Christmas, okay? Or else Santa will give us nothing. Nice butt crack. I don't know what's in there. You're probably right. Simon, show me your eyes. Are you excited? Yeah. You guys, we went from eight trees to four. Well, Ashley went from eight trees to four from our last house to this one. So I feel like we're making progress. Oh my goodness, we can't touch them, though, huh? And I just leave them under the tree. But you know what? Okay, Mom made you guys waffles, too. You know what? This is, like, for me, my favorite part of, well, growing up, of Christmas was looking at the presents and trying to guess what was in them. And I'm not gonna lie, me and my brother were really scandalous. We used to, like, unwrap them with a knife and untape them. We didn't realize what we were getting. We couldn't wait. You think those ones are yours? Yeah. Oh my goodness. Point to the presents you think are yours. Do you think that one's yours? And that one's yours? Oh. That one looks like a book? Yeah. There's a penguin on it? Do you want me to tell you what it says? To Simon from T-Rex. What? That is so cool. A T-Rex said, oh my goodness, a T-Rex gave you that. To Cohen from Frosty the Snowman. No, no, that says it's from Frosty the Snowman. And so Frosty bought you that toy. This one says to Simon from Raiden. This toy's from Raiden? Raiden, what do you think he picked you guys out? What do you think he would buy you? This one says, oh, to Simon from Pickle. Pickle got you that one, Simon. Oh, my book of penguins. That is so funny. He has presents. I look so sick right now. Kind of feel a little under the weather, but I just realized we have not done a house update today, and we did get a lot of stuff done. So let me take you on a really quick, let me see, I gotta come over here where there's actual light so you can see. Okay, so last night we had no ceiling at all. Let me show you what we got today. Ta-da! The entire ceiling is done. Isn't that awesome? The guy did it so fast. I couldn't even believe it. And then we have 16 lights in our house, so that's gonna be really nice. So tomorrow he is finishing this wall, and then the stairs need some help. There's some sheetrock missing on the stairs, and then all of the windows. We'll be sheetrocking all of that so we can start painting. And I do believe the mud guys are going to come tomorrow, too, to mud everything and sand it, which I didn't know those were two separate people. I thought whoever sheetrocked mudded it as well, but I guess not. But I have the most exciting news ever. We have our wood floors here, so I'm gonna give you guys a sneak peek of what they're gonna look like. Okay, guys, here it is. They're distressed a little bit. You can tell they're just a little bit bumpy, but these are real wood floors, and they're already stained and finished and just so nice. So we have like 500 boxes of this stuff. Here, let me show you like two pieces together. Look how pretty this is. I'm so excited. We got this from R.C. Willey, and I believe it was four something a square foot. But it's definitely very pretty. I'm very excited for this dark wood. And here's one piece that I just put right there on the ground. But it's obviously gonna go throughout this whole area. And then we're also going to run the wood down our hallway where that lovely pink carpet is. So yeah, that's gonna be fun. But I think we're gonna call that a night.
